My gut feeling is......

If we run out 1-17 we will get dusted by 40\. I'm normally optimistic but I just have a feeling this is going to be a sea eagles rout.

We need size and stiffness in the middle but that bench gives me no confidence I really don't see why or how sheens can come up with a gameplan that involves beau ryan playing 40 mins in the forwards and actually think it's a good idea. Especially when u have a busted payten on the bench too.

If Brown and McKinnon play I see nothing other then a sea eagles victory and comfortably too

I got the feeling Sheens might have a few surprises up his sleeves and the team listed won't the one that takes the field
Manly had some points scored against them when they played the bunnies 2 weeks ago and struggled against the panthers this week - although winning both games
We can only hope it's their time for a slump and we get some 50/50 calls go our way

I don't think Manly will put 40 past the Tigers. I can see them winning by 20\. Just not sure what gameplan the Tigers need to take into this game to beat Manly. Very hard ask for the Tigers forwards to win the ruck given Manly wrestle in the ruck almost as good as Melbourne. I don't think the Tigers will go around Manly either, they've somehow got to draw them in up the middle and then hit them on the edges.

I'm 100% sure Tigers won't get dominated.
They will probably lose, but our goal line defence has been extremely good
I can't see them win by 40 or 20.

It will mostly be about how quick our PTB are
and our defence up the middle, securing the ball etc.
Tigers have struggled with this for a while and again, this will be the deciding factor IMO.

tigers need kicking game to be spot on, if theres ever a game where lui, marshall and farah require their kicks to be a-grade its this week, no hot and cold against manly. hopefully we can get some sort of quick ruck, with manlys huge forwards they will lie all over our players whole game and have a picnic. if our completions are like the past 2 weeks we're in for a real shot of beating probably the title favorites at this stage of the comp.

We usually do alright against the Eagles. Also as a team, we've become pretty good at avoiding getting flogged. It happens, but far less often than in the past.

I agreed with your post…..but McKinnon has now dropped off and Groat comes in. Gives us a different look.

Manly still deserve to be favourites, but with the publiclty for this game, im pumped and i think my poor wife is in for bad night if things dont go our way.

I have been saying all week, we just dont make enough yards from our defensive sets to have a top class kicking game. Too often its kick the thing as hard as you can and pray, where if you have good field position on the 5th you can be selective with your kicking game.

Anything is possible, but Manly seem to really lift against us. Will not be a blow out but will not be close either unless Chock and matai loose their cool and that happens every few weeks
