Me and my wife planned to name our child james. But I cant do it know. It would honestly remind me of everything that is wrong with this world. A world of greed and lack of vision. Teddy may go on and be a great but this hurts us loyal fans who would die for the tigers. Ayoub couldnt care he just sees the commission and teddy will long be forgotten soonl
Unashamedly im extremely wealthy who has taken jobs because I could see doors opening. I cant believe teddy was so short sighted.
Teddy to me represents everything that I hate in todays society. He is a bright guy who will sign many more contracts but acted like a guy like it was his last deal. Only time will tell and I honestly wish him all the best. But I know my boys name is no longer james as it hurts to much
 
Is this a joke? You wouldn't name your kid james because of teddy signing elsewhere?…..

Certainly a lot of hurt fans today.

The "it isnt about the money" , upset me.

My middle name is already James unfortunately :slight_smile:
 
Thanks defiant. The tigers are a big part of my life and today is a black day. Being a tigers supporter is not easy. I thought the future was brighter with teddy. Us fans dont taste success every day like the more fancied clubs and know one likes to lose a player that brings so much happiness

Man, if you're an "animal in business" i need to know which business you're in. I refuse to employ business people who can't spell.

I'd be spewing if my name was James after the display of character we have seen from a player who used to play for us. I would change my name even if it was my middle name. We were going to call one of our kids James and thank god we didn't because I'd have him up for adoption tomorrow and that would be too late.

As for the op - I'm poor and I feel the same way. Tedesco has let us down. No class money grabbing moron.
 
Obviously this is your first child….sad if not.

Unless you planned to name him after Tedesco, then you really shouldnt change your mind.

James is a great name, my sons middle name is James as both his pops middle names was james as well, so we both thought it only natural

You thinking this way now, but you wont in a few months, and certainly by the time hes ready for pre school this will be all but a memory

Sure beats Daly, Karmicheal or sunny bob...if you want to be ruled by something so minor over what will be one of the biggest decisions you can make for your child, then so be it

If you change your mind, you will be the loser, and you will then always be reminded, I reckon
 
Maybe name your son Bertha or Maude…. its probably your best chance of protecting against a player possibly coming through with a boys name and leaving the club a second time.
 
Maybe call him Ink …. After the "great man" of the Wests Tigers Forum.

Can't be any sillier than some of the names kids get these days !
