I have to assume that BRET will be playing Wentworthville on Saturday afternoon as well, at Ringrose Park.

Ryan Carr and Al Shirnack should be back for this game. Much needed boost for the BRET front row. Now only if we can somehow get McInnes and Parata back out onto the paddock as well. 😛ray:

Did Horo get suspended after the last time we played Wenty at leichhardt ?

Yes he got a 2 week suspension so he will be missing the first finals game

Sat.12/09/2009... Central Coast Storm Vs **Western Suburbs Magpies** @ Morrie Breen Oval @ 1.30pm

Sat.12/09/2009... Wentworthville Magpies -Vs **Balmain-Ryde Tigers** @ Ringrose Park @ 2.30pm

Sat.12/09/2009... North Sydney Bears Vs Cronulla Sharks @ North Sydney Oval @ 2.30pm

Sat.12/09/2009... Bankstown Bulls -Vs Newtown Jets @ The Crest Stadium @ 3pm

Here are the results of week 1 , State Cup Qualifying Series…
12/09/2009

Central Coast Storm lost to
4 - 68
Western Suburbs Magpies @ Morrie Breen Oval

Wentworthville Magpies lost to
26 - 32
Balmain-Ryde Tigers @ Ringrose Park

North Sydney Bears beat
35 - 8
Cronulla Sharks @North Sydney Oval

Bankstown Bulls 52 beat 30Newtown Jets @ The Crest Stadium.

Hence Bankstown Bulls & the North Sydney Bears have next week off and play the following week in the Grand Final Qualifiers

Newtown & Cronulla are eliminated.

Week 2 - State Cup Semi-Finals

The 2 highest ranking losers will play the 3rd & 4th highest ranking winners.

Hence, I think this is how the games will be played out.

Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers (3rd highest ranked winner) Vs Wentworthvile Magpies ( 2nd highest ranked loser) @ Leichhardt Oval.

And another rematch I think it works like this with….

Western Suburbs Magpies ( 4th highest ranked winner) Vs Central Coast Storm( highest ranked loser) @ Campbelltown Stadium.

Or they might have a doube header again

Next weeks games should be:

Week 2

* 1st Semi Final: **Western Suburbs Magpies** (4th highest ranked winner) vs **Wentworthville Magpies** (2nd highest ranked loser)

* 2nd Semi Final: **Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers** (3rd highest ranked winner) vs **Central Coast Storm** (1st highest ranked loser)

I have a feeling that neither team will be playing at their respective home grounds. I think there is talk of a double header at North Sydney Oval (not sure though the commentators on the radio did mention a couple of other options, though they were not 100% sure of the exact locations, but I know that Leichhardt was not one of them, so Campbelltown won't be either)

It would be good if it's a double header next week. There would be enough room in the Eastern Stand at Campbelltown Stadium for everyone. :sunglasses:

Hear that Tigers are playing at Henson Park.

.

Right on the Money Ric…..this is the Confirmed Games and Times for **Week 2-Semi Finals**

**It's a Double Header at Henson Park.**. This Saturday 19th Sept.

**Game 5…..Kick Off @ 1.15pm**

**Western Suburbs Magpies** ( 4th highest ranked winner) Vs Wentworthvile Magpies ( 2nd highest ranked loser)

**Game 6….......Kick Off @ 3pm**

**Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers** (3rd highest ranked winner)Vs Central Coast Storm( highest ranked loser).

Henson was a dustbowl 2 week ago when BRET played Newtown there…....I can't image how it will be after all this hot weather....hopefully they will drown it with water all week

Hopefully both our teams will win…..I was hoping they were playing the other way around, as Wests has Central Coast Storms number and BRET have beaten Wentworthville twice now in the last 3 weeks.

**The following week in the qualifying Grand Finals games**. this will happen.......dates, Location and times not confirmed yet

**The North Sydney Bears** will play the winner of Game 6
&
**The Bankstown Bulls** will play the winner of Game 5 .

This all sets up for a Balmain Ryde Eastwood Tigers Vs Western Suburbs Magpies Grand Final at ANZ Stadium, if both our teams can find it in them to both win their next 2 games

The times are correct, but I think you'll find that the games are being played at Leichhardt on Sunday. Makes a lot more sense cause the surface and facilities are much better than Henson, and it seems NSWRL don't really care about home game advantage cause Wests played at Campbelltown two weeks in a row last year in knockout semis.
