I don't get this. We have a tonne of more issues that Naiqama. I would go so far to state that for what we pay him Naiqama is one of our best performers. Idris and Chee-Kam were a lot worse in defence than Naiqama.

True, but who do you replace him with. The lower grades are not going that great.

Centre is a big problem for us at the moment. But yes, Naiqama has had an ordinary start to the season to say the least.
He is just not first grade standard in defence and it's 3 years now and zero improvement. We look good when we are on the front foot but can't defend when things go against us and its always directly or indirectly Brooks on the left and Kev on the right. Moses used to be a weak link but he is the only one to really improve.

I'm at the end of my rope with him. Not only was he average as usual in defence, but he dropped a pass over the line that he should have swallowed that could quite possibly have gotten us back into the game. I thought Chee Kam was our best today and I think when Idris is fit for 80 minutes, Kev should get the boot.

It'll happen, but Idris only has about 40 minutes in him at this stage. Hopefully they get it sorted soon because we need some forwards on the bench. We went into the Panthers game with two interchange forwards, neither of whom are really front rowers.

Kev is ordinary. Do not suggest Idris as a replacement he was hands on hips/thighs/anywhere except the football 5 minutes after coming on and then the same 10 mins into the 2nd half. Idirs has a long way to go, and if he continues at his current standard, thank god we only gave him a 1 year deal.
We should be looking at making a play at one of the Panthers' outside backs - probably Whare. They're flush with options there with DWZ, Mansour and Hiku in their squad in addition to who they rolled out today. A few good players are going to miss out and we could use someone like Whare badly.
