Naiqama

Would prefer to have not only the current Penrith backs than Naiqama, but also many of those that they have already let go. Would have taken the younger Jennings, Braidon Burns, Dylan Edwards. Whare and Hiku are not much chop, would rather the youngsters with ability over average players coming back from long term injury.

I'm at the end of my rope with him. Not only was he average as usual in defence, but he dropped a pass over the line that he should have swallowed that could quite possibly have gotten us back into the game. I thought Chee Kam was our best today and I think when Idris is fit for 80 minutes, Kev should get the boot.

Idris will be fit sometime in 2018 , by the look of it.

Just said in another thread, the Pennys were offside every single set and frustrated and strangled us to death. So our attack was put under pressure and our yardage game and kicking game was horrible, so that all turns around and puts enormous amount of pressure on your defensive game and Nagama and 16 others were poor

the whole team needs to watch a replay of their last effort at canberra and ensure it doesn t happen again.

rushing up out of the defensive line ,which our backline stars do regularly, is a good place to start.

What is the betting Naquima will again be picked by Taylor to play centre against Canberra?

Do Leilua and Rapana play on Kevs side?? I can't remember, lord help us if they do and Kev is picked… Rapana will score plenty

No.. they are the Raiders right side in Attack..

Who could forget Simona's flick pass 10m out from our line to Leilua who then did a fancy flick around his back for Rapana to score last time we met…

He was a hideous defender when on the wing, so why would u then ask him to defend the most difficult space on the field? Reprise his defensive performance against Canberra last year at Leichhardt, speaks for itself. Surprised that Lawrence does not defend this channel. But you're dealing with Jason Taylor, a man who repeats unsuccessful behaviours like no other. I know 3rd Grade Subbies coaches with acres of ideas compared to JT

Kev is ordinary. Do not suggest Idris as a replacement he was hands on hips/thighs/anywhere except the football 5 minutes after coming on and then the same 10 mins into the 2nd half. Idirs has a long way to go, and if he continues at his current standard, thank god we only gave him a 1 year deal.

Idris is a blancmange and that is not a word I use often.

Don't worry Big Papali won't miss him.
Paulo will move where Brooks is and run there all day.

Come on guys - you can't be serious about Idris playing for 80 mins. From what I saw (should be 'eyesore') he couldn't play for 8 mins. He looks slow, lethargic and cumbersome - if he's already lost 10 kgs he needs to lose another 10!

Honestly MCK seems to be having a dig but really, let's face it, he wouldn't be a centre in any other NRL team. As for Kev - that was a really poor performance. He actually gave up on many occasions on Sunday - just stopped chasing. He wasn't the only one either. Most of the team looked absolutely shagged by the 25 min mark and never really recovered. Where was all that tough pre-season work?? The Panthers looked twice as fit as us but I suppose when your attacking and things start clicking you seem to have the energy and the opposite happens to your opponents.

I actually thought Moses was very quiet through most of the game as well. Is anybody else noticing that Brooks and Moses can't seem to combine in any plays - it is either one or the other leading a play with the second standing out completely. The very few times they have actually combined they have looked good.

Another rubbish performance from him.

The easiest tackle in the game is the one from behind when the runner doesn't see u coming….well he fell off JAC from behind like a schoolgirl. That pathetic attemp should be the final nail in his coffin.
