Has anyone been watching these guys and other "futurte" stars in the lower grades?
I would love to hear peoples thoughts as I can not get to any games all I go on is whats said on here.
If you have watched a few games of these guys or want to mention other players you think will make the NRL please feel free to comment.

Obviously 80% of the forum watch them all - week in , week out.
That's why they are all calling for them to jump into a first grade spot every time a regular first grader makes a mistake. :unamused:

Late mail is that Molzten will play Half, Anasta to 5/8 with Tedesco to fullback.

I'd like to see Simona on the wing,…a good player who is safe under the high ball.

Big T is still very raw, in all likelihood we should see him be a contender at the start of next season.

Nofo I rate highly, he has deceptive speed and the ability to break tackles. I think he is ready.

Sirro. A handful of games back from a shoulder recon, I would like to see some km's in the legs and really standout performances first.

Simona. Has been a cut above in State Cup. Is playing a lot better then our current left centre at this time

Agre e Simona is a strong, safe player but is much better suited to the centre than the wing. I reckon once Koro makes a return

1\. Teddy
2\. Reddy
3\. Simona
4\. Ayshford
5\. Koro

May have got the left/ride side wrong, not sure what each player is suited too.

My thoughts
Naiyaravaro- Big, Strong and fast loads of potential, IMO he is along way from first grade at this stage has poor hands and his "football nous'' is not NRL standard IMO, that said he could be anything
Nofoaluma- To me looks like a certain NRL player, whether it be this year or next. Brillant at bringing the ball out of our own half, looks very to me.
Simona- I have only seen the televised game this year, but he is a very good player and seems like he could easily come into first grade and do a job. ANd if MOltz goes to half, i think it is likely he would come into the side.

The one you haven't mentioned that seems the goods to me is Brooks. He looks like a super talent in the halves and expect him to do really next year

I know it won't happen…
But why the Hell can't they leave Anasta at 7?
Moltz is more a 6 than a seven, And Anasta can Make the 7 his own in the time Marshall is away.
IMHO this is the Perfect time for Robbie and Braith to stiffen the 9/7 combo without being over-ridden by Marshall.
It could open our game right up when Benji gets back!!
But no, We will re-shuffle Teddy to the Back.. Play Moltz in a position he has been proven over and over again to not be much chop at, And move Anasta from the position he will likely play when we are at full strength...
All the good that was done last week, Will be lost and in 4 rounds we will be back to square one!!

Not so sure about that Batboy , as I said in another thread if we happened to win the next three with whatever combination Potts chooses where does he go from there ??

We should have everyone back bar Keefy and Gavet so it will be interesting to see what he does after a three game streak Get the feeling he'll go with the blokes who got him there but thats just my opinion

I doubt that very much…
Marshall won't play State Cup (If that's what you're suggesting)
And Braith won't stay at 5/8
My point is, Whilst Marshall is out, Braith and Robbie have the perfect opportunity to work on the 9/7 combo and Braith has the chance to mould his game to be a more Dominant 7!!
I feel moving him back to 6 is a backward step!!
-Especially given Moltzen is a far better 6 than 7!!
Anasta may not be a 7, But he is consistant, Defensicely sound and has a decent kicking game... He needs to stay at 7!!

Moltzen has never, ever been a halfback.

He played State Cup as a pivot, he played NYC as a pivot and later fullback and has never played as a halfback for the NRL side.

When he played NRL in the 7 jersey we played a pivot either side of the ruck with Farah as a quasi half out of DH.

Moltz is an instinctive ball runner and couldn't organise a scout troupe to walk down a street let alone an NRL team around the paddock for 80

All the talk is moltzen is a great communicator, and that is why he has kept teddy in state cup or on the wing. I haven't played much league, but surely that's a good asset to have when it comes to organising your team around the paddock?

ps I'm quietly excited to see how we go without benji, especially how our kicking game goes between the 20 and 50m mark

So is Kicking and passing… Moltz not real flash at either.
There's a difference between telling people what to do, And doing it!!

There are in fact a lot of people on here who watch plenty of the lower grades. Not sure why you are rolling your eyes?

Totally agree with Batboy. To have Anasta at 6 and Moltz at 7 would be a stop gap measure until Benji returns and seem pointless that Miller was dropped and replaced with Anasta at 7 in the first place.

Simona looks the most likely to me out of the youngsters.

reverse wingers, simona and aysh both like 3\. Not sure how big an impact switching sides would have for an up and coming player like simona cause i'd like both in my team over lawrence. Any thoughts?

If that is the case, then he is playing better than our current right centre as well.

I couldve sworn he asked for comments on rookies, not smart A attitude

I love Nofo, he gives it all but seems short in stature…agree with smeg on T he's like bam bam on the turps
Tim Sim seems a smallish bloke too...but pretty good from what Ive seen...dunno if he''ll go on to bigger things tho

Seen a bit of nofo, don't rate him quite as highly as other here do. Not sure if he can instantly step up to first grade like koro did. but in time he could defeinitely become a great first grader! Prefer to keep a back 3 of teddy, reddy and moltz (+koro when back). Maybe moltz will have to go to the halves for benj.

just my opinion, haven't seen every game of his so I could easily be wrong and he might be able to come up and dominate withing a few games!

As much as I'd like to see Mr T get a run in FG, Smeg is right, he's raw. He's the type of player who could really cause havoc when the Tigers are "on", but could really suck badly when the team has an off day.

I'd be inclined to run Nofoaluma ahead of Reddy. Reddy is decent under the high ball and relatively safe, but has rubbish acceleration and speed and really doesn't threaten in attack, whereas Nofo is a tackle busting machine who can score a try or two. Sirro needs another 3-4 games under his belt before I'd consider bringing him in. Simona looks very sharp this year, he looks really fit and is in better form than Lawrence at the moment.
