how hypocritical are the wests tigers coaching staff and management when they refuse to allow the wests magpies any nrl players but they are quite happy to take naiyaravaro from the magpies and play him in the under 20's. good luck to the kid although he would benefit more staying in the nsw cup as it is a much harder competition than the 20's. those who think otherwise are kidding themselves. bring back reserve grade as the curtain raiser to the nrl and get rid of under 20's to it's rightful position that being a third tier competition. over the years i have seen grant jones sack players from the 20's only to see them play nsw cup. how does that work. does he seriously think the 20's is harder than the nsw cup. no wonder they have never won the twenties and never will with this guy as coach.

Don't think I've seen this kid, look forward to getting there tomorrow for the 20's game to see how he goes, apparently he's a BIG unit and runs well with the ball.

He is a big unit and he played well. You would think the two Fijians would be playing on the same side of the field tomorrow. Will be good to watch.

They have about 40 under 20's players those not in the 17 have to play somewhere.
Some play for Balmain tigers some for Wests magpies and some for Campbelltown warriors.

I love watching the 20's and who the new kids are coming through the grade.
I don't want to watch reserve graders.

naiyaravaro plays right centre. he is the guy i was talking about a few weeks ago. he was playing for western suburbs. he looks pretty strong. he barged his way through 4 defenders to score a try

He got a wrap from Grant Jones in this week's Big League magazine. They liken him to a bigger version of Tuqiri and said that with the right attitude and hard work, he could be anything. Hopefully he gets a bit of ball tomorrow and can use his size and strength to destroy the Eels.

You can't play the Balmain v Magpies card for NYC since it's the NRL who decides the make-up of this competition hence why every NRL team is replicated under 20's wise.

it's not the wests vs balmain card, it's wests vs wests tigers. as i said it only works one way with the wests tigers, they won't allow any nrl players to go back to wests magpies but will take players into the nrl or under 20's when it suites them. i like everyone else thought this was a joint venture. in saying that bret haven't exactly set the world on fire and the magpies with limited resources have done pretty good even though they are down the bottom.

Massive! Let's hope he kicks on.

This time last year he was playing in Fiji with Koroibete. If he can learn the game and work on his fitness, handling etc, he could be a real weapon in a couple of years.

They should keep him in the NSW Cup so he gets used to playing with older and bigger players, but the next game Wests Magpies have the bye so it's ok.
