Pretty sure I read that Ivan is his manager - but could be wrong.

That's nuts if that's right. How could Ivan do that and be a first grade coach?

Im sure someone will correct me if Im wrong on that Gallagher.

Thought that they were both under the Beavis umbrella, but could be wrong.

Actually, during the Griffen sacking saga it was reported that Beavis looked after Gus, Ivan and Griffen so youd think he'd have Nathan aswell.
So Beavis looks after Gus and both the Cleary's. Yeah, I'm sure we'll do well out of this,

I don't know why it needs a seperate thread when the is a perfectly good Nathan Cleary one already…

If we're going to spend a million on a half, I'd go hard for Munster.

Nathan is good, but Munster is ahead of him and more what we're after.

As others have said though, until we have a forward pack who regularly get on the front foot our halves will still have trouble playing their best game.

I like Munsters playing style and think he would compliment Brooks in the halves. My only concern is I remember Bellamy wanted him out of the Kangaroos training squad and back into the storm system due to issues he was having off the field. Could this be a risk for a personality like his to be in our system. I'm sure he will only keep maturing as he gets older.

No to 1 mill. Actually no all together. Dont need a half, we already have a great one here. I dont rate cleary as high as everyone else seems to. I would rather loose cleary senior before signing cleary jnr

By no means is Brooks a great half, hes improved, but , but has further to go to be anywhere near Great,
Not in the same category as Cleary, but together it could work.
One of The plainest differences between them, is that Cleary doesnt get himself crowded as much as Brooks, And seems to have more time for decisions, where as Brooks gets himself in panic stations , then ends up kicking into someones legs a lot more often
If they did work out together, we'd have two very quick halves '
Not sure why ANYONE would want to keep Reynolds in the team, did Nothing much in the last few years, and thats before the injuries ,
For his sake I hope he gets rid of them, but as a WT'S supporter, I hope its at a different club.
Yeahh, I know he "lOVES THE CLUB"., It means Bugger all.

I have been like a yo-yo with supporting Brooks and then not. But our last tackle options are just terrible.

I’m falling on my sword but I’m saying yes, pay Cleary the nom noms

Reynolds is lame and should be at the Bulldogs.

Not even Bulldogs would want him back.
What's Black, orange and bruised and is only seen once a year? J.Reynolds :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick: :brick:

If benj retires, who's filling in???? Not Gamble, he's not ready for the NRL just yet.

A couple of things;

1\. Cleary is 21 and thrown into the hottest cauldron in rugby league in a team with 10+ debutantes who hadn't won the series in a long time.

2\. I believe this attributed the the back end of his year, especially considering he was out for a month before origin

3\. I think Maloney was instructed to play the genuine 7 role and take major responsibility of the team hence why Cleary was somewhat quiet. Very smart in my eyes.

4\. Cleary is 21\. A current winning state of origin halfback. His best years are still ahead and he will only grow the older he gets, especially with Brooks running intertwined at 6.

5\. Oh and kicks goals at about 90%

Sign him!! No brainier!!

Thought Gamble was rumoured to be going back to QLD. I could be way off though..
