The kid has had 3 games correct me if im wrong & he has been woeful in all of them. I think Lulia would do a much better job, but obviously JT dislikes him

Yep I was wondering why Lulia hasn't been included in the team, unfortunately Milone doesn't seem to offer much at the moment, why is he continually being picked :crazy

tigress,Milone has played 3/4 NRL games and everyone is on his back about being woeful..
Give the guy a break,Moses and Brooks have played much more NRL and the club has invested heavily in them on reputation alone…have they done tremendously better,Milone has never had the hype around him that these others have...

From the moment Brooks and Moses entered first grade they showed glimpses.

Milone hasn't been terrible in all his games, but he has shown nothing to suggest he has anything. Just ineffective.

I prefer Hoeter marginally, at least he's harder to tackle.

Yeah I don't like seeing personal attacks on guys who are being forced to play first grade before they're ready. It's not their fault. The truth is Milone, Sironen and Lovett aren't first graders yet. They should be completing apprenticeships in State cup.

Agreed TT.People don't understand the difficulties of a kid without much talent being thrusted into first grade way too soon is soooo hard for the por guy.Maybe lulia would be better but I can see JT is trying to build a future with these younger kids.

Agree with your first comment stryker.

Milone is not ready - I think with others that Lulia would be better at filling the spot at the moment with just a bit of centre experience. However that is not going to help us next year which is why JT is giving these kids a go to see who is up for it and who is not.

Agree with Lovett comment but disagree on Sironen - I think once the chains are off he will be better than Penriffs Cartwright.

We don't agree all that often but I agree with you here. The hate mail for some of these kids (and they are kids) is a matter for concern. I hope they don't read this forum (hopefully, unlike me, they're too sensible!) because at their age some of this stuff really does do some damage. After all, what can we expect of kids thrown in the deep end? They do their best which would probably have been a lot better after a year or two in State Cup.

Agree on two out of the three. I think we need Sirro in the backrow at Lovett's expense. For a bit of impact I'd also like to see Liolevave move onto the bench, this kid can hit and break the line which is something Lovett does not, and will never have in his game.

Willow, there was a big write up about Liolevae being resigned with the WTs…so why won't Taylor at least give him ago in the first grade spot, just to see how he goes,he couldn't be worse than some that he has given a chance to ?

Well for one Liolevave's form in NSW Cup has been very, very average. He's got to put his hand up for selection in the NRL seeing work ethic isn't his thing. If he's not a damaging runner, metre eater or solid defensemen he doesn't really bring much to the side.

If he get's his head right he could be a very good back rower. It took Taumololo 3-4 years to find his feet in the NRL. Hopefully Lio can settle faster than that!

Lovett wouldn't stand out at NSW Cup level either. Would be the same, only at that lower level he looks solid

Not defending anyone in our team, but it must be very hard for a young kid to come into a team that is being out classed week in and week out. We have a six and a seven that make Benji look like Liam Fulton in the defensive department,we have winger who would be the slowest player in the team and the other one can not jump or catch and we have the poorest back row in the comp. A player like Milone could fill a gap if requires in most of the strong clubs but in our club its just lambs to the slaughter

I don't think anyone has hate for these kids but they are picked in first grade so open to criticism if they don't play to first grade standard.

You can't help people criticising them if they don't play well. Criticise the coach, again, if the player he picks is not up to first grade. Sometimes it can be a cruel game.

We have a real problem in the centres, Milone and Hoeter have been found well short of the standard required, not really surprisingly either, their lower grade performance has not looked like they were nrl players at any stage.
