I thought I seen him in the foundation cup highlights. Is this correct? Did he play in the Parra trial?
He's not part of the 25 man squad so I'm wodering why he was played and where Sheens see's him. What position was he playing in the trials?

He'd have to be behind Miller and Chrisholm for the halves, but maybe Sheens is considering his backup hooker options is the only reasoning I can come up with.

I wouldn't have him in reggies as anything more than a bench hooker for Politini.

Saturdays NSW Cup trial showed how innefective a half back he is and the side only clicked when Russell replaced him.

He came on for Robbie for 5mins, let a try in and was unsighted the rest of the match on Sat night.

I agree he isn't up to NRL standard. He had quite a good year about 3 years ago when Wests made the finals and i think he got called up to first grade for maybe 1 game off the bench. From memory he didn't get much of a run but i can recall him dropping the ball cold when we were 5 metres out and attacking. Pretty sure we lost the game and that play was crucial.

It just seems strange that he was even playing in the trials. I suppose Sheens was just looking at his backup hooker options. After Politini I'd consider Miller for hooker rather then Waters.

Add Meaney to It just seems strange that he was even playing in the trials….

I've seen more from him at Rake in the Trials than I have from Politoni.
Agree that 7 isn't his bag… Not with BRET anyway!!
I think he is a far better foil for Farah than Politoni at this point....

I agree with bat boy , Waters's best position is hooker , his defense is a strength. I can see him making 40 tackles from hooker in an NRL game .

And I can see him missing 10 tackles a game. Politoni easily has his measure at hooker.

I agree Willow. Didn't he make a bad miss against the Roosters which led to a try? I think Liam initially received the blame but understand it was Waters.

He is not a first grade player.

Mithcell Pearce Brushed him off like Todd Carney blowing the foam off another beer - you couldn't even categorize it as an arm grab it was that bad.
