Hey all, just a little question I’ve been meaning to ask but haven’t had the time to just yet.
I live in Eugowra in the central west NSW, our little country has just been rocked by a once in a life time natural disaster.
We’ve lost some good friends our homes and all our possessions.
It’s been a really tough fortnight and all the people in this town are just absolute fighters and are battling through this traumatic period.
Unfortunately we have also lost our local football facility( Canteen, Bar, stands, fences and even the goal posts got ripped out and floated away.......my question is does anyone know someone or some company that could assist in helping out with restoring our local league team and its facilities back to some kind of normal?
It’s the heart and soul of this town and it helps keep our young blokes of the streets and guides them Down a good path.
Any thoughts, contacts would be greatly appreciated thank yo

Long shot, but the RLPA and or Men of League may be able to help?
I would get in touch with Men of League for sure.

Hey mate, just letting you know that I send an email to the NRL last week. I basically cut and pasted your post to them. I haven't had a reply.
If still no answer this week I'll follow it up before Christmas. See how we go.
Have you had any luck with Men In League as a few members sugested?

Hey Balmanian.
Remember I said I was going to see what I could dig up for you re assistance with your club. I'll paste here what I have received and if you woulb like to chat just pm me.

Their reply to me:

Thank you for your email. We appreciate you taking the time to write to us regarding the residents of Eugowra.

The local community is at the forefront of our minds and we are looking at ways on how we can support them during these difficult times.

Our game brings communities together and we have always banded together in challenging circumstances.

We have begun using our platform to raise awareness and if you aren’t already aware, there was a charity walk to raise much needed funds to assist the residents of Eugowra.

You can find more information in the link below.

Again thank you for taking the time to raise this issue with us as we look to assist those affected by these disasters.

Kind regards

I'm going to contact the fund raiser of the provided link and see if I can donate by bpay, I don't like credit card payments.
My 100 bucks donation might buy a football, atm that's all I can afford. 👍
