We are perfectly fine. If our place is flooded, about 90% of the whole world is! 🤣
I've had the 196th flood warning from BOM this morning. It's insane. The roads are farked. Eugowra is farked. Canowindra is soggy. Molong is farked. Cowra is soggy. I got to work today, but stayed home yesterday - bonus day with my son and my birthday (thanks CB xx). I can't believe the devastation around. I can't get into Canowindra which is only 16km from home. If you're my Facebook friend, check out my newsfeed. It's awful.

Waters receding here but that only means trouble for the communities downstream.
Bathurst is very well protected by levees.
The town gets cut in two when there’s a major flood which hasn’t happened sense 2000.

Happy birthday SQ, I watched the local news last night, it’s so sad what has happened to those small communities, absolutely devastating I don’t know how some of those people pick up and start again, one positive thing about those towns is the strong bond between the people country folk look out for each other, that’s something that a lot of people in the big smoke don’t understand.

Anyone wanting to help out these small communities, when things settle down take a drive out here instead of visiting places like Bathurst or Orange visit Molong Kandos Canowindra Eugrowa.
Call into a pub or cafe have a meal and just take a stroll and admire these small communities.

The NSW SES has requested further international assistance with the Singapore Civil Defence Force being deployed to to the Central West including Parkes, Wagga Wagga as well as the SES State Headquarters.
They join the New Zealand Fire and Emergency crews who have also joined the emergency response.

Im sure there are a lot of members that feel at a loss that we can't help physically. There are ways though where we can help.
