I think if we can replicate the past 4 weeks for the rest of the season, we are good enough to make the Top 8.
Spirited loss to Raiders, who aren't travelling as well as 2019 but still have much more strike than we have. Decent win over Cows with a bad finish, then a commanding win over Bulldogs to show we learned from the bad 2nd half. Close-fought loss to Panthers.
What this form is showing is that Tigers can really choke-out struggling sides and compete with the best sides. We lack just that forwards depth and wide strike power to consistently beat the better finals-bound sides.
Next 4 weeks a real test for us and probably defines the season.
Rabbits travelling the same as us and very very beatable.
Then Broncos, who are due for a win and not as bad a roster as the results seem to indicate, but you will expect to beat them to keep yourself in the 8.
Then Parra, which is the biggest test all year and a true indicator of where we stand. We will be strongly underdogs for this match and I expect Tigers to throw everything at them, might be a real energy-sapping match or the key to ongoing fortunes.
Follow that by Warriors. Assuming you don't get over Eels, Warriors are an inferior side to Tigers and are playing at a year-long travel and homesickness disadvantage. You will want to see a strong performance after the Eels match, which may be at some risk as the Eels match may take a toll.
