Why call yourself the dolphins it's the least intimidating animal lol

Rabbits and Eels don't exactly fill anyone with fear either

Dolphins regularly beat the breaks off sharks in the wild and push around puffer fish to get high thats pretty awesome if you ask me

Hehe yeah true. It will be a blood bath when the Sharks play the Dolphins.

About 20 mins from me, I'll be supporting them as second team. Might be hard to keep it as second team if Tigers get the spoon next year hehe (just jest)

Souths are the rabbitohs which are people, not the rabbits the animal. I know its not important and they are widely referred to as rabbits but for some reason it irritates me that there is no distinction.

Official: Rabbitohs or Souths.
Colloquial: The Bunnies, The Rabbits The Red and Green, The Cardinal and Myrtle

Rabbits is fine as is Bunnies, been used for years, just not the “Official“ name

Was more referring to original poster saying the Dolphins aren't an intimidating animal, considering Souths mascot is a rabbit that's not real intimidating either.

Going with financial stability means little

In 1988 Seagulls were the srongest , financial rugby league club in Australia

Anyone remember the Gold Coast Seagulls .....

Yep. Shocking weren't they

But they went under financially as well

Redcliffe is far and away the best choice. They have a firm grasp on the Northern Beaches and Northern corridor region. Everyone from Aspley to Gympie and beyond can call this club home. They are a stronger and more established club than both Jets and Easts Tigers and have a far more recognisable brand.

It is the best decision 100 times over and I can't wait for Bronx Nation to be cut in half.

Not surprised, they must hold the record as the least successful club across the whole history of rugby league in Australia. Three consecutive wooden spoons! And if not spooning it up in the bottom 2-3 teams consistently.

Tweed Seagulls are still highly profitable. It's the NSWRL club that went under. During Super League Tweed Seagulls abandoned the NSWRL club (known as Giants / Seagulls) and the licence was sold to Jeff Muller, a local property mogul. Muller is the one who presided over Gladiators / Chargers.

The current Titans have nothing to do with those operations, and Seagulls still field a side in the QLD Cup (they got knocked out in the semis this year).

To be fair, their logo looks more intimidating than our new logo

Think I’ll stick with the warriors as my second team. For someone who lives in Brisbane I have a pretty big dislike for the broncos and Titans

Our new pussy cat logo wouldn’t intimidate a fly.

What really irritates me is that the Souffs scum are in the comp.

Kick 'em out! (Again)

The good news for us is we don't have a lot of targets off contract. Last time this happened we lost Laffranchi and Prince to the Titans along with Richards going the year earlier and then we went downhill.

We're odds on to lose Mikaele to them. Makes sense that he only signed a 1 year extension.
