NEW CLUB

I'm with you cq - as an old Balmain Tiger, I could only support the Wests Tigers. Another club? Forget it. You'd lose me entirely.
However, I am really optimistic, that once the new Board is in place, then hopefully we'll see the whole club moving in the one direction - that is, in the direction that is best for Wests Tigers as a single entity.
Personally, I'd like to see in the longer term, a Board that is elected by the members of the Wests Tigers club. Anyway, time will tell.

Yeti, I have hope in our future, long term. We just need to sort out the Balmain Leagues Club issue. This has been the weight around our neck. It doesn't have to be on the old site but the current situation is a nonsense.

I can see our beloved Tigers being moved to Central Qld

I'd even let you Mexicans stay at my place for free

Happy if Central Qld get an NRL team, EVER, I'll eat my hat.

Never gonna happen.

If they do, it'll be in Rocky and you can stay at my place.

It's such a huge RL breeding ground here, that's why all the NRL sides are lining up for the Capras to be a feeder club hahaha. Was boncos, was cowbies, was boncos again. They had some bonco players signing autographs at the shopping fair a few weeks back but not a big line up of fans. Come to think of it they were nearly all reserve graders.

So Happy, are you gonna give us away and become a card carrying member of the CQ Crushers?

No but at least an NRL game will only be an hour and a half away , not 7 hours to Brisbane and 11 hours to Townsville

There is no Balmain, there is no Western Suburbs, there is no Canterbury, there is no South Sydney and there is no Parramatta. There is only Homebush.

Basically the way forward is to forget about district football in Sydney altogether unless you live in the Shire. Everyone else should make their way to ANZ stadium every weekend and choose to support either the Olympic Park Bulldogs, the Newington Tigers, the Flemington Rabbitohs or the Homebush Bay Eels. With an ANZ stadium membership they can also catch Soccer matches with the Lidcome Wanderers and AFL matches with the Bicentenial Park Giants.

It's the way of the future, and by future we mean finding uses for an ill planned white elephant entertainment precinct.

This is a stupid thread.

Imagine the junior catchment, Penrith, Campbelltown and Balmain!

Capras won and won well CQ , if only they could play the Falcons every week , they might make the semis

Ah, Happy well congratulations to the Capras for a top win against another struggling side. They're both old fashioned sides. You know Hap, when you knew after the first 4 games that you'd be fighting for the wooden spoon.

Go Capras!

Yeah good to see them win last night , they are in a very similar position to the Tigers with a young squad and heaps of injuries this season

I hope it all works out for Jason Hetherington (Capras coach ) he is one of the most genuine people you can meet
