Moltz has nearly 100 games (amazing) and fully fit afaik.
Moltz isnt perfect, neither is Teddy….I can see why Potters gone the way it looks like he will.
Criticism so soon a tad harsh not a tackle made or ball kicked

Firstly Moltzen had a hamstring issue during the off season
Secondly you are basically saying that because Tedesco is less experienced that he should miss out
Tedesco showed more in the 30 minutes he played than Moltzen did in 95% of his games as fullback
My point is Ink that until the trials are over that no decisions should be made on basically any position ,especially fullback . I would view it for any position , if Brooks has a mindblowing start in the trials we should be looking at him as well If they are good enough they are old enough Experience should not come into it
We all need to be DeSheensified
Is there a course we can all attend at our local TAFE that will fix this ailment
@tigersrule4life said:Timmy Moltzen can play he showed us back in 2009 and on the winning run we had in 2011 hopfully Mick Potter gets him back to his best and will see how he goes from there. And mabe in the future James Tedesco will play on the wing or take over as fullback.
@Eddie said:Fair point Fergie although he was ready this time last year and seemed to "know the playermakers" the way he roamed (not just backing up Benji but every play!!). He showed more in two trials and 30 minutes at Leichhardt then Moltzen has at the back in 3 years. I understand the nature of the injury though so i'm not too concerned at this stage. He is only young so your right, we don't need to rush him although if Moltzen serves up half the crap he did last year we will be struggling as a team again. I was harsh on Sheens over the years, however people thinking players will all of a sudden become different players might be surprised!
@happy tiger said:Ink Moltzen has had many leg issues including an ACL as well Hip flexors ,calves injuries and hammy injuries he is sounding similiar to Wade MacKinnon except Mac was a good fullback
Personally I reckon if both are even during the trials Tedesco should get the job , Moltzen has had too many chances and Tedesco is the future of this team
Next question Ink Experience means something Well neither Miller or Brooks have it really at NRL level so why would it matter if we went Brooks or Miller
@quintus said:Moltzen is a class player we all know that. However, he has no heart and there is no way to grow a new one as far as I am aware. He could have saved countless tries in the past but was very aware of being injured in the process. Going into a tackle with your eyes shut and your head as far back on your shoulders as is humanely possible does not equate to what a fullback should be about. I don't call any player or anyone heartless off the cuff and in fact I feel a little sorry for Moltzen because he cannot change what he is. I have complete confidence that what I have just written will bear me out before too long.
