Chee Kam already calling Tamou ‘skip’ on his Instagram. Wonder if they already know he’s captain or maybe it just some random nickname. No surprise he’s already well liked after only being there a week though

Tamou will be the captain next season. Moses is not happy...

Mbye needs to realise there’s a reason for that. Didn’t show enough on the field as a captain and that’s where it matters most.


I believe the only reason Madge made Mbye captain in the first place was to try and get him to lift his game. An incentive that didn't work. Don't see why he would be unhappy with anyone but himself.

He played really well back end of 2018 and clearly impressed Madge, he’s a smart well spoken guy who is probably vocal at training.

Problem is Madge never saw him on the field while coaching us really which and based his selection on training, and Mbye struggles to lead on the field. Moving him from fullback to centre also affects his ability to lead on the field for sure too

Tamou is an easy choice. Even if Mbye was going well, I’d make Tamou co captain.

Unfortunately no but I'm quietly confident about him for some reason - he's quite mobile for a big unit from some brief footage I've seen of him.

From that it looks like he’s got a mix of David Fifita x Payne hass. Obviously he’s not atm but he’s definitely got a similar style

He's only 20, Could be anything.

Far out they make them big when they’re young these days lol!! I missed out on the bug guy genes that’s for sure lol

Balmain HM and SG Ball. Attended St Joeys with a couple of other Balmain players, Sam Kanaan and Emery Jolliffe, both wingers.

His father was a former Gordon player and is the fitness coach at St Joeys. I believe he operates a gym at Pymble. O'Kane anf Kanaan are highly regarded in rugby as well'

For those interest, Sam Kanaan in highlights. Green and Gold Rugby includes comments that Kanaan shut down Suaali in the Kings v St Joeys games. He seems like a very capable young player.

Top one is Logan Dillon. Fullback for flegg last season. Very similar to Dufty, great pace.

I was hoping that was him. Good to see him training with first grade, haven’t seen him in any other photos but hope he’s been there a bit

I sent an email to the Media department at Wests Tigers requesting that they put names to the photos, which they did to most of them, there must be some players that they don’t know the names of.
