From Leichhardt to Campbelltown, there is an abundance of WT fans who are located in many places that at present cover vast areas of our big City, The term "the sleeping giant" refering to the WT has been used many times even by our Madge.

We truly are a sleeping giant of the NRL, but this sleeping giant would need to wake up very soon before the Rivals come and take our land for their own use.

Most would now agree that a new stadium in the inner west is almost impossible to achieve, but even this is not a problem, because while the major shareholders Wests Ashfield and the nearby COE are deeply seated there in the inner west, this area would be well protected from an invasion by any NRL rival.

The real threat by the rivals is in the West, the WT must wake up and cement their relationship with their fans in the West.

This is why i suggested **Minchinbury** (this includes nearby suburbs) as a **new** **homeground**, it is also **geographically ideal** for all the fans, from the inner west to the west/southwest.

If i were a business partner with the WT i would give this a serious consideration and start making enquiries about it now, because when you build a **new stadium** in the middle of the **fastest growing populations** in Sydney, with a **new airport** nearby connected by motorways, after then, business-wise the WT would not have to lift a finger to do anything else because every type of entertainment (including after game bar touring) and all the other types of businesses would have already converged to the area.

The thaught of relocating is absurd, so, relocate and leave this giant of an area to who? The dogs? The panthers? The eels,?

**WT**, the west/southwest is our territory **wake up** and see all the exciting great potentials under your noses and **stand up like a giant**.

We would you choose Minchinbury to make it easier to identify is as a part of Sydney. Minchinbury is a suburb and not region of Sydney. If you want to make it easy say the stadium should be in Mount Druitt as that is the region.

Building a 30,000 capacity stadium for a Tigers home ground seems extremely... optimistic.

Do you have any idea how objectionable that idea is to the Magpies, the 90% owners of the joint venture.
I'm not and never will be a Balmain Tigers supporter.

Neither Balmain Tigers nor Western Suburbs Magpies have existed for 20+ years in the NRL.

Regardless, LO is still a great place to watch football. I'd sometimes coordinate Sydney trips around games there to go and watch (Wests) Tigers play.

If it does end up being 'some dump in Liverpool' that definitely won't be happening.

It's still a JV of Wests (90% owners) and Balmain.
To play all games at Balmain's home ground is a massive disrespect to the Magpies.
Sometimes I think this forum should be renamed the Balmain Chronicles.

To be honest, I actually think the club needs to consult with the younger fans that don't remember either Balmain or Wests and we as fans that grew up supporting Balmain and Wests need to be prepared to hear what they have to say.

Everyone needs to forget Balmain and Wests...It's Wests Tigers...let's create it's own future, not try and recreate parts of the Balmain/Wests past.

It is a good point but is difficult when our region is so vast, hard to expect 15-18 year olds to travel across Sydney for training after school.

While working with the Ambush we have spoken to him about the desire for one home ground. I didn't raise your quote in particular but the issue was discussed.
