Big call! A lot of stiff competition out there…


Brisbane have had a few clangers… Their predominantly yellow strip is another one that comes to mind.

Auckland Warriors jerseys in their first few seasons were pretty average, just about every design Newcastle have had has been ordinary...

Can anyone remember this one...

Even though the design sucks, I hope it doesn't affect sales because the club would no doubt have factored in projected sales for their budgets. Hate to see those budgets not met.

The only way they will learn the error of their ways (assuming these designs become reality) will be through the hip pocket. If noone buys these ones I doubt they'll last very long

I actually think I will like the main jersey. It seems to me a twist on the 10 year white jersey which I loved. Wait and see though. Sponsor logos breaking up the alternate strip may also improve it

I have seen the 'leaked' 2011 Wests Tigers jerseys online, and wish to inform you that if these are indeed the jerseys for 2011, I will not be purchasing one. This is dissapointing as I was hoping to buy a new jersey during the off-season. Why does the club not put a series of jersey designs up for the so-called 'valued' members to vote on? After all, members will be around long after those in the clubs marketing department have left the scene. Even amateur designers on the unofficial Wests Tigers fan forum have come up with designs that look far better and are much more well-recieved than the X-Blades templated designs. I emailed him too and he responded quite quickly saying WT have not finalised there jersey for 2011 and thanks for the email. Did you get a reply?

If I had to pick I'd go for the one with the white background. Then if forced I'd go the black background next. I can't see why the club can't release the design on their website without sponsor logos just so people can see what it will look like. Putting the sponsors on later won't make that much difference so what's the holdup?

well first off happy that being a balmain boy that the home jersey is gold now..but let me say im sick of changing the dam design and sick of paying $160 every year for a new god dam jersey!!. and I think thease look ugly, what was wrong with what we had before>? NOTHING ohh wait they want to make more $$$ so need to make new jerseys, I will say at least the dragons boring jersey never changes in 100 years, the Alt jersey is ugly as ever to much white in it looks like a training shirt

I believe it is an NRL requirement that all teams have alternate jumpers and besides it doesn't hurt merchandise sales.

I was just looking at that shot of the white jersey again and something came to mind. A while back I was looking at a shirt online that was black and appeared to have grey "tiger markings" on it, but when I went into Concord to have a proper look they said that it was just the shading on the picture. The shirt was just black.

Sooo, is the white jersey just white, or, white with grey markings? 😕

You realise we have had the same jersey for 3years now? That's only $53 a season for a jersey? Unless of course you've got a family but from what you said you have to pay $160 a year for a jersey i'd say your argument is more towards the amount of jerseys we have i.e home, away and 2 heritage jerseys but also taking into account your a balmain boy i'd say you maybe only bought 1 of the heritage jerseys? So ends up being the same as every other club?

Yeah said the same to me, also metioned that jersey preference is down to personal taste….

wests tigers. not MAGPIES. i never understood the magpie on the sleeve although it didn't bother me. there is no remnants of balmain on there so…..yes, our emblem is a tiger but we are also called wests. it ends there for all those hanging on

They are both crap - lets get away from the traditional Balmain and Wests designs and develop a Wests Tigers design - every year we have the argument - too much Balmain - too much Wests - get over it they are gone.
