According to the Mole, we've signed the Roosters S+C coach:

Great signing if true! Given our connection with the Roosters now, it's seems quite possible. Maybe it's a challenge he couldn't resist. Rather than training a team of champions, he can create a new team and culture with us!

as long as he is the best available and not joining us because he is a mate of JT's then I'm okay with this.

I'm proud to announce that I'll be supporting the @Wests_Tigers for their 2015 campaign. I'm grateful & excited for the opportunity ahead.

Yep good point. Coaches create their own boys' club wherever they go and so since JT has hired him, it means he trusts him. Just hope it's not blind trust.

Good luck to Keegan.

While only a DT article, he certainly seems like he knows what he is doing.

Well done to JT and the club for bringing him on. Let's see how our rehab and recovery efforts fare now.

He is truly one of the best in the business. Not just Rugby League, but fitness in general. A great pick up for the club and cant wait to see him kick our boys into shape. Check out his website here - http://www.primalsydney.com.au/

A little FYI … He is Brian Smith's son. Wonder if there's any link!?

I wonder if his arrival means an upgrade to facilities.
Surely someone of his calibre wouldn't want to work with the current facilities at Concord.

I hope so. I can imagine part of the task he's been given is to design the Tigers facilities, and that IMO would be a big exciting drawcard.

Very good appointment…one thing you can say about the Roosters is that they were always a very fit and hard team...

Hopefully Keegan Smith can instil some of that into our Squad...it may have taken us some years to catch on but employing Professionals in key positions is to be applauded..Well done Wests Tigers nice get JT...

Just read your article. Two things I think are gonna prove great for us is he talks about he likes making people better people and he has the life skills to back it up.Living for years on floors with the mayans in the mountains of mexico and for 6 months with the Yankuntjatjurra people in a remote part of the Northern Territory tells me he has an enormous zest for life, desire for real challenges in life and his people skills are amazing.Given the fact that he was on the shortlist to be S and C coach for a premier league giant in Liverpool FC(dont think you will see skando there anytime soon)tells me he is the real deal. The other point he makes is he says his workouts dont go for that long rather short sharp burst.I think this will put the fun back into training for our players and as we know with anything in life you have to be truly enjoying it to get the most out of it.You know with the quality skillset and more importantly the unique life skills he comes with I think we just bagged the most important(off field) person associated with rugby league.ZERO EXAGGERATION.Well done JT. :sign: :sign: :sign:
