Xblades are producing the jerseys for the Castleford Tigers in the ESL. Their 2015 jersey looks awfully familiar! Wonder why we dropped the orange for next year…

I have yet to see the new gear in the flesh,but Iam going to Campbelltown next week and will pop in and have a look..

I think I could go the modern look,don't know ….

Still have my Meriton black,orange and white and the 05 home strip love em.....

Judging by the variations in reaction to the white/grey and the auckland nines jerseys, i'd say they're targeting the younger generation and more pure "wests tigers" supporters with those designs.

Everyone I've spoken to that is younger than 25 or there abouts has loved the grey NRL jersey. I've even recieved two messages from non Tiger supporters who loved the black auckland nines strip.

Perhaps the heritage, anzac and main strips are the ones their using to persuade older generation supporters into purchasing a jersey.

I for one am struggling to decide which jersey to buy for the upcoming season…

In the promotional clip they write:

"Footy in January ?… We came prepared... Beat the heat this summer"

So it is a tactical decision

If they removed the Tiger would you think that is OK too ? Part of the JV agreement is that the Magpie is to be on the jerseys.

We aren't the only team playing in singlets for the tournament.

The Melbourne Storm have also intoroduced a singlet design for the tournament. Although they could be using it as a marketing ploy, to attract the attention of the Melbournian market as well as combating the heat.

Also, about 10 clubs are yet to release their nines jerseys. If 2 or 3 of those (particualry those supplied by ISC) were to be singlet designs then i guess our approach would be a little more understandable.

"Wests" is still on there. We have bigger things to worry about.
