What a team.

However 2010 was a heartbreaking year, finishing third and then losing 13–12 to the Dragons in the preliminary final. The loss to the Warriors the following year was another horrible loss and in hindsight, it marked the beginning of the slide into decline.

Stephen Humphreys was leading the ship back then, and he was a no-nonsense CEO. Whilst he left at the end of the 2012 season, I thought he did a great job, although he was operating in a difficult environment with significant issues within the club's boardroom.

The boardroom infighting was also one of our greatest issues, and the NSW Labor Government's handling of the Sydney Metro project under Kristina Keneally was another major political and infrastructure issue that ultimately had a significant impact on the club.
