Next Weeks Team

lol why would you move the leading try scorer out of position?

because he'd be more damaging for us up the middle. how often do we need that bit of a burst up the middle to give us momentum?? tuaki's the answer.

He can selectively be used as a runner through the middle if thats what they feel is needed.

But they can do this without stuffing up our backline by moving him

Tuiaki already plays like a forward when required. Ala Sailor back in the Broncos days, leave him at wing we get the best of both worlds from him.

You want Tui knocking backs over, not getting smashed by people the same size or bigger. 😕

pretty sure hes doing it for the saints as well.

Always gets involved with a big run almost every set… great player.

imo you cant split up the unbeaten 6 and 7 combo

Lawrence to fullback (could be a masterstroke) and Collis in the centers

He's not more damaging up the middle, he's more damaging out wide and his stats prove it.

No - Lawrence is becoming an awesome centre in defence - Collis is a shirt grabber. Do not move Lawrence or Ayshford.

Hanbury or Moltzen to fullback.

I'd rather move Lawrence to fullback and have to deal with Collis's weaknesses in defence, than move Moltzen and deal with Morris's inability to play in the halves…

Moltzen barely changed his game on Sunday when Gallant left the field except for the fact he was behind the defensive line.

John Morris is a solid footballer, good tackler, first to dive on a loose ball, handy dummy half runner. That is the role he plays and Moltzen plays a half in attack.

Bringing in Collis to the centres and Lawrence to fullback gives us a weak link in defence. Defence wins comps.

No arguments here Gary. I concur….

1.Hanbury
2.Tuiaki
3.Ayshford
4.Lawrence
6.Marshall
7.Molzten

Defensively, that is the best back line Wests can offer with Mighty Mouse being on the sidelines. Shifting Man Child Lawrence to the back leaves the right flank exposed as Ayshford will be switched to left to accommodate Lawrence.

If Sheens simply replaces Gallant with a Fullback option, retains Moltzen at 7 and Lawrence returns to left centre, the dynamics and structure will remain intact and all should be sweet.

C'mon Sheens, you know it makes sense....Please don't complicate things, not now....not this time of year. Now is not the time to experiment and makeshift players

Well at least I picked Lui.

nope I don't think he does

Lui is going to be a good first grader but I'm not sure about Lui playing first grade this year. His defence in the Toyota Cup is pretty bad at times so I think he should have stayed there for the rest of this year, especially that Moltzen is already going well in the halves. I would have gone with this:

1\. Hanbury
2\. Tuiaki
3\. Ayshford
4\. Akeripa/Pritchard/Davis
5\. Lawrence

6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen

8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah ©
10\. Galloway
11\. Galea
12\. Ellis
13\. Heighington

14\. Morris
15\. Payne
16\. Payten
17\. Skandalis
