NFL Season 2020

After watching ESPN's Hard Knocks i have to say i really like the Chargers Head Coach Anthony Lynn.

Only good things to come to that franchise with him in charge.

Really high on Justin Herbert as well, I know what a star looks like and i know how they hold themselves, their demeanor the quiet confidence. . .

Im all in on Herbert.

Chiefs get second title ... has that happened before a team winning Two in a row ? Any way waiting for college ball to start that will be different no marching bands or mass fans !

Philadelphia Eagles for me. Liked the Marky Mark movie, got converted, now I follow them with almost as much passion as I do my Tigers. I think we'll win it this year - as I do every year! Just need Wentz to stay fit and healthy and some of our rookie WRs to hit the ground running. Sanders will be a top 5 RB, easily!

I thought he struggled a little until the last drive, the 2 big misses on AJ and Ross really hurt and he should have made those plays. The INT was bad as well, but he really stood up on the last drive and put the team in a position to win.

Hopefully an improved all round performance on Friday

San Francisco 49ers fan
also have a soft spot for Buffalo Bills remember Jim Kelly and the 7 superbowls when i was younger that was depressing indeed.

I'm partial to the 49ers and Falcons.

Only recently started following the game last year. Not sure why I ended up a cardinals fan.. but I enjoy a challenge I guess lol

Zac Taylor absolutely stinks. When are we going to get a defense that can actually tackle? Honestly NFL football is good defense and strong offensive line. That's it. And the Bengals suck at both. All that said, Joe Burrow looks like a superstar. I haven't seen a Bengal throw it as crisply since early days of carson palmer, and Burrow is a lot smarter.

Can someone show the Bengals how to tackle? Even Mitchell Moses would do a better job out there.

Some of the tackling today was simply embarrassing, but the play calling calling and play design is horrible. Taylor needs to go.

Yep, it's a shame they didn't make the call in the offseason. I just see nothing offensively and that's supposedly his game. But coach is a motivator and inspires confidence, you see it in Mike Tomlin. I reckon players look at Taylor and thing, 'how is this guy a head coach?'. Last week was really weak not going for it on the last play, Burrow was killing it. I thought that before the missed field goal. Give the kid a shot at winning the game after he did everything to get them down there. They play at a miserably slow pace when Burrow is high processing speed and great with spread offense and lots of options. Just rubbish from Taylor. Last year I thought the opposite on offense, all we had were two good backs and he rarely played two set back backfields. he just can't adapt whatever game plan he's trying to develop. A.J. Green also needs more time coming back, he looks way off the pace.

But damn Burrow is good.

I wouldn't sack Taylor until the offseason now. But I'd try to find trading partners for either Bernard or one or two of our receivers and try to stack our offensive line. I can't believe we went into this season without much change to our horrendous line. Bengals keep on bungling.

Mate, Burrow will get hurt of be totally gunshy by season end, there is just no protection. It was nice seeing a Bengals quarterback extend and make plays today, but I hate the hits he is taking.

I know, it's brutal. I'm just watching his eyes to see when he switches mentally. You can see he's still got hope at the moment, but you also see moments of recognition and disbelief. We've got something here, I just think the bengals made a major mistake in not investing big time in offensive line.

I couldnt agree more, Burrow was excellent yesterday in a team that would have the most useless OL in the game.I was watching it live and Burrrow is exactly what we need but he needs much better protection than he is getting and a better defence when he is off the field

Thats the thing, we scored enough points to win the game, defence just could not stop the Browns.

Watching the Bengals was awful. They're just not competitive at all in the basics of football: Offensive and defensive lines. Just awful. And what do they do in the second round of the draft? Another wide receiver to add to their nothing Tight end of a year ago This team is horrible. They need to fire Zac Taylor now. Now. He's the offensive guru, right? The offense has sucked in all but one game. What is he there for? What track record does he have that gives the team confidence in him, having never been a coach of anything but quarterbacks before? He was a terrible hire and he's been a terrible coach where just about every player has regressed and nothing has improved. As bad as the offensive line is, and it was bad last year and they refused to change anything, surely Taylor can come up with some way of making it at least somewhat mimicking an offense.

Bengals Project for 2020: Turn Joe Burrow into Andy Dalton. Almost there.
