With the first weekend of the NFL season kicking off in a few hours, who is your team and what do you think your chances are?

I'm a Steelers fan and after Tomlin's clean out of players like Mendenhall, Wallace and Harrison, I'm quietly crapping myself for this season. Even though we did well during the draft, I'm not holding out much hope they can make any impact just yet.

Eagles.

Intrigued. Don't know what Kelly has in store for the offence. Keeping a healthy O line should see us run at least 8 - 8 but defensively we are transitioning so it will be via a fair few shootout games

Seahawks.

Hopefully RW improves even further this year. Definitely good chance to make the playoffs.

Geez Peyton looked good vs the ravens..

Big Denver Broncos fan here have been for 20 years.A lot of good judges r picking the bengals to win your division. For me as A Denver Bronco its all about the super bowl this year.

i still cant believe how well manning has gone for the broncos. i was surprised the colts traded him but luck has certainly delivered.

personally, i like the vikings. hopefully peterson will run for 2000 plus again this year.

im not full on into it, but do like to watch the nfl and big college games. amazed at the crowd they had at the clemson georgia game… mind blowing. something like 84k?!

thought youd be a giants or jets fan jerry…

Denver Broncos - Started my tenure in the Elway era.
This is the season of our redemption.
Not the Shawshank Redemption but Manning redemption.
But im weary again of the Melbourne in the NFL which for me is the New England Patriots with their version of Bellamy in Bellichek & their Cameron Smith in Tom Brady.

5 sacks…...our offensive line has massive massive problems. The steelers have nothing in offence.

Did anyone see the horrific knee injury for the College player yesterday

If anyone can post it ,would be great

If they can't it appears as if his knee is pushed backwards at a 90 degree angle

The young fellas name is Munchie LeGaux

i am a ravens fan  think denver are a very good chance of winning this year after smashing us on Friday morning. should be a good season !!

Dolphins man here

Beat the Browns

Don't know what to expect this season , a lot of change with not only personnel , but I imagine playing style as well

Packers for me since 73\. One and one so far this season, and I'm sure we will give it a fair crack again.

Lombardi perhaps the greatest and most well known sports coach had many quotes and this is one of my favourites

" The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavour."
