NFL

Steelers lost to the Bears 17-10\. I didn't get to watch the game cause they didn't televise it in my part of the US. I did watch the Seahawks and the 49ers. Seahawks were terrible and were lucky to only lose by 23-10.

Jets 16, Patriots 9
Falcons 28 - Panthers 20
Bengals 31 - Packers 24
Texans 34 - Titans 31
Vikings 27 - Lions 13
Cardinals 31 - Jaguars 17
Saints 48 - Eagles 22
Raiders 13 - Chiefs 10
Redskins 9 - Rams 7
49ers 23 - Seahawks 10
Bears 17 - Steelers 14
Ravens 31 - Chargers 26
Buccaneers 20 - Bills 33
Browns 6 - Broncos 27

im very shocked at the packers i though they were specials -10.5

Apparently they had a chance to win it at the death (10 yards out 2 seconds to go) but got a false start penalty against them that ended the game.

im shocked they never covered the 10.5 im even more shocked they actually lost, cincinatti are like the roosters and greenbay are probably like the tigers (best team to miss the playoffs 2 years in a row)

Ah well, still early in the season, results can be a bit odd at this time of the year.

yea such as the pats losing…. why isn't this offence playing

i think the pats will hit their stride around week 5-6 i can see them going .500 till then, that will give brady time on the field after over 12 month of from his knee recon.

if you are a betting man i wouldnt be taking the pats minus the lines at this stage.

the thing is brady in pre season was firing, the last 2 weeks bar 3 minutes of brillance and a 10year stuff up from Leodis McKelvin the team as a whole has been horrible. Not taking anything away from the jets as they played well and will suprise a few

to be fair to brady his offensive line did nothing for him, he was getting hammered all day

Good night for BSU with a crushing 49-14 win over Bowling Green Ohio. The other good thing is that California and Ole Miss lost as well. Looks like BSU will go from number 8 to 6 or 7 with those teams losing.

Eagles belted the Chiefs.

Good way to head into the Bye and getting closer to having all troops on deck

they are 5th right behind lsu at 4th.
i've never been so disappointed in a 4-0 team.

but i was shattered with todays 49er loss to favre.
i think he was created to drive a knife in my heart.
singletary needs to put some more faith in our qb.
3rd and 6 and a 1st down seals the win and we run it while we couldn't all day and they stack 10 in the box.
just a bootleg with pass/run option at worst will kill the same clock time, and i have no doubt the viks would have bit on the play.
another one of those "i hate football " moments 2 hours after the game.

on another note, how long have you followed college football.if this is your first year, you better prepare yourself for teams with 1 loss to go flying past you when the bcs computer polls come out next month.

Texas did what i couldn't on ps3 and slaughter UTEP,lol. 63-7\. Impressive. Racked up 40 of them in the first half alone. Hopefully the Longhorns can get into the BCS championship game this time round.
