Nice Comeback from Chris Lawrence

Chris Lawrence needs to be congratulated on the improvement he showed today. Great defence and team play. Hope you keep it going Chris.

Probably the best game he's had in quite a while, it was great to see. Great game by the Tigers

He ran some good angles today. It shows he is trying to develop his game to be effective, hopefully it will yield some more good results.

He scored a try, made a solid tackle and a decent run from dummy half. If that's all he needs to keep his spot he shouldn't find it that tough.

I think a lot of what Chris has lost is confidence and if the team is playing well with him in it he'll gradually regain it.

Still looked short a yard of pace, but was back to the Lawrence of old, running strong lines and hitting hard in defence to shut down sweep plays. Really happy and couldn't happen to a better bloke, here's hoping he keeps improving for many games to come.

Funny ,he spends the 80 minutes at centre and he looks a 100 percent better

Makes the stupid comments from last week eat their words that's for sure

He was solid in defence, and ran some great lines in attack. Had flashbacks to the Chris Lawrence of old there for a while. Hope he keeps it up and improving each game.

I didnt comment on Chris last week cos circumstances were very unfair.

Today he was good. But gee, why does he not attempt any footwork??? He doesnt have to be a big stepper, but he needs to step a little.

Looked a lot better. Has always run a beautiful line. Still lacks pace and defence is still a concern to me. Needs to stop rushing in in defence; I don't think he has the pace to shut the ball down. Nearly cost us early in the first half when he left Richards facing a two on one. Thankfully Lyon shovelled the ball into touch.

Agree with someone above. I dearly hope confidence is one of his issues. May do him a world of good to score a try like that.

Much improved, but to me still looks like he's lost a yard of pace. He got caught out in defence a few times.

Decent game today, had a good battle with Lyon who is one of the top centres running around at the moment. Hope he continues to improve.

He did get caught out on occasions but it was more read related than speed related.I thought the wet weather helped chris as the opposition centres get slowed more than him.Chris Lawrence has showed that he is an utter mudlark.Hes great at that type of try he scored today on wet grounds he has done this time and time again in the wet. When its wet for whatever reason chris loses 0%speed but his opposition lose the customary 25%.I truly mean it when I say Chris is the finest mudlark in the game regarding improved performance.

Love Him - Good to see he is persisting - we just need patience.

Have never doubted he come back to his best. Someone said in another thread that he should not have played for Australia. Well he did, You can't take that away from him. He was good enough at the time.

In my opinion Jamie Lyon is the best centre in the game - I thought Rowdy did a pretty decent job on him.

Possibly the foot work is on hold - the same as Teddy's was when he came back at the start of last year.

Looking forward to that returning and everyone getting off his back. It might make him a little quicker.

Simona goes well in the wet too tbh. That game we bet Melbourne in last year he was unreal.

We've come a long way from being totally useless in the wet, we're now one of the better wet weather sides.

Yes a great return to form from last week but fair dinkum in the professsional game we have today he should have adapted and read the game better than he did against the Warriors, Potts must have given him a Rocket!.

Credit where it's due, Chris put in today and had a good match.

Lets just hope we see that from him consistently.
