I will hold off watching this until we actually sign him.. Don't want to get excited too early :grin:

If Cotric signs I think he & Nofoaluma will work well together on the right side & become a great combination with Gildart & Maumalo hopefully gelling on the left side & Hastings, Brooks & Laurie rounding off a decent backline. If they winning then put Douiehi on the bench as our utility when he returns.

He’s a left side player.
Nofoaluma certainly won’t / can’t swap sides

But players that achieve SOO selection are not normally duds and usually regain their their confidence with bit of TLC.
If the signing happens I think he will become a permanent first grade selection.

Cotric is a winger, Why should we pay big money for him ? To help Bulldogs off load a player we don't exactly need, has he played well recently, No. He is not a centre so we would need to sack Nofo. We do not really need another winger

So, do we have Junior wingers ready? Well they will be locked out.
Or are we playing Cotric out of position in Center? We still have Jet on trial and train and IMHO he is a better center.

This is all about Depth and I think we have it wrong. We need top shelf players and take a risk on injury. Not signing a lot of cap bloat. On the bus and Big 17 have been our worst recruiting decisions.

In 2016, Cotric was a member of the Canberra Raiders' NYC team, playing 21 games primarily at centre. On 5 September 2016, Cotric was named at centre in the 2016 NYC Team of the Year"".

While he has played mainly wing in FG he did come through as a centre and I think he will make a really good centre for us

23 year old winger compared to Ivan's recruits are chalk and cheese. Cotric is young and has already proven he has talent. I think it's a good deal assuming Bulldogs pay some freight.

From the Parramatta forum they are saying Paulo to Eels. Close to happening as soon as they can get rid of Thompson and Cotric.

Heard from someone connected to another Sydney club we are having a look at Nelson Solomona rather than Thompson from dogs not sure how legit this is though and do we want a other unvacinated as we already will have Api

It depends how much they pay him. We've also gone from no centres to having a bunch of options assuming we get him.

Gildart, Tupou, Cotric, Doueihi, AJ Kepaoa, Talau and maybe even JTJ.

Bulldogs already have 30 signed and in addition, Lumelume coming on board. Something is going to have to give very soon.

Said Brother is back playing for lower grades for Wenty (Basically Parra), Can't be that filthy....
I've also heard that line a few times, Not from anyone important or close to the situation... My guess is, If anything, There may be a small part truth to it. But money and success talks - don't forget there's also a managers agenda to factor....
Even if he doesn't go back, What stops them offering desperate money and at best forcing us to pay overs?

Seen a panthers statement or something similar saying the same, I think many assume he wasn't at the GF parade because of his Vax stance - I don't think that was the case?
