I dont think Lee Hi is an idiot. He is a very smart and Passionate Supporter like us.

He is quite measured in what he says and is doing his best to paint the WTs in a more positive light.

I think it’s all about getting some experience in the three quarters to sure up our defence. We were diabolical last year in defence and a guy like Cotric will help. He also gives you full back coverage

I agree in some ways. He's average and I was never interested when he signed with the dogs. Just lacks that extra speed that elite players have. But at 400k he'd be a good buy and an extra 100k for two years isn't too bad, especially in an area of need.

As others have said, he'd be near our best outside back whether that's at wing or centre. I think he's a slight level above Momorovski and others of his ilk, a solid player who will look good when the team is going well.

That's an upgrade over our current backs who not only don't stand out but also make crushing errors which ruin our momentum.

They must have recruited a fullback, half and hooker that I hadn’t heard about. They’ll be 4 spots higher at best

And they’ll still finish above us.

The Dogs will be mid pack or better even with their spine. Burton will be the difference

If Dogs didn't sign TPJ, Mahoney, Kikau and needing salary cap space they would not be offering him up and paying some freight.. The club looked at this and said we get a good player that fits our need for a far price..
If the Dog's didn't come to the party we would not be interested and rightly so for 650k..

Agree he was a SOO player just a few years ago and still only 23. To be fair to the club we have not overpaid for a player for a while now and cannot see that happening for Cotric.

The Tigers putting in more than Canberra (not sure what that number is) and Bulldogs putting in the balance to get to $650.


Even if he is coming for 450-500k it still means we are paying almost 1 million for 2 wingers.To me that is just a tragic waste of money

Cotric is not a good center he is a good winger and i believe will end up there if he comes

In this case he upgrades from Nof or Ken who get moved on. Progress. He can cover positions they can’t. I’m not writing him off as a centre yet tho.


Nofo will not be moved on regardless of anything else,he has 4 more years to run on a fairly large contract.I don't see the club subsidising him to go to another club it is far too costly

I don’t get where this obsession with Noffa comes from. I get people don’t like him, that’s their prerogative, but there has been zero indication that he’s being shopped around. Like it or not, the club holds him in high regard and they have no plans on moving him on anytime soon

I don’t see that either, was just hypothesising with Jad’s prediction that he’ll end up on the wing.
