I can't believe we actually challenged Brisbane for his services.

Anasta was bought by Coach Sheens to play 1/2!!! Not his fault he is trying to play 2nd Row. The bloke is having a dig in a position he shouldn't be playing…WORSE SIGNING EVER..You can't go past ADAM BLAIR!!! I'll give you $500 000 reasons why!!!

Nick Graham wasn't too bad of a player. He was a ball playing lock, we had him playing as a wide running second rower. Its a shame we couldn't get more out of him

Sam Harris would have to be the worst signing we have ever made. Early on in his career at Manly he looked like he could of been a future Rep player but he played like a hack for WT.

Braith will be more value to us now that he is in the halves IMO, showcase his passing and kicking a bit more…he ain't much good to us as a hit-up merchant and tackling machine we have all seen that. Carn Braith!

Sorry GNR but when you say "its a shame we couldn't get more out of him " ,we couldn't have got any less out of him

The only positive thing he did in a Tigers jersey was turn Oxygen back in Carbon Dioxide

FADE TO BLACK,,,Sam Harris!! Ha ha Yeh,,Lets use Braith's KICKING GAME,,like 4 Rounds ago!!!

Worst signing in terms of talent was Pillow Peter Lewis. Talking up his Origin aspirations, never trust a prop who wears headgear.

Money wise Ryan O'Hara closely followed by Nick Graham with Adam Blair making a play for the title

Who was Peter Lewis, never heard of the bloke? What year was he with us?
As far as props with headgear go….I would take Peter Johnstone any day, man that fella was hard as granite! Maybe his head wasn't though!

Not certain, but I think he was a that lower grade Parra player we signed a few years ago who was supposed to be something special (at least he thought so). Turned out to be something else instead.

Well it's showtime for Anasta.

He hates second row and imo hurts the team playing there.

Now we can see what Sheen's had in mind knowing that Anasta will be extremely motivated to make it work.

Too early to answer the OP.

Thanks Flip, did he ever get a game in first grade for us do you know? Vaguely remember his name now but can't recall him playing.

We do seem pretty adept at recruiting duds though :frowning: . Hope Braith doesn't turn out to be one of them, I reckon he will come good soon enough now he is in the halves where he belongs.

Braith will go fine in the halves. Just what Marshall needs.
A bloke outside or inside hime who communicates and will run a line.
6 or 7, either side of the ruck seem to be the same things nowadays. At least the opposition will have to hedge their bets on which way the ball is going.

And in answer to the OP, in terms of money spent and what he added (or subtracted) from our club: you can't go past John Hopoate. He embarrassed us. Badly.

With that one incident he did absolutely. But other than that his performances were fantastic IMO, he was regularly one of our best players. Was unlucky not to play Origin in the years that he was with us.

And with that erased everything else. He did it in our jersey, representing our club. It was shameful. No amount of tries or great performances can change that. He's a complete grub and I still find it embarrassing that he played for us.
