Are there that many backs in 9s? I thought there'd be a couple less centres/wingers and some back rowers or something.

Also, dont think fulton is suited to 9's. Haven't watched any really, but going of union 7s not sure if he's a fit.

This is the type of game Mitchell Moses gets a run mark my words, for the wealth he will now be earning he will be playing NRL in some capacity next year, and the 9s is made for a guy like him

I agree!

We really need to be using this for the young guys development. It will be a small snapshot into the level of physicality of full grown first graders, but with a reduced playtime and no competition proper points to worry about.

I'd leave out most of the older established players. We got the talent amongst the youngsters and newbies that we will still be more than competitive.

from what i've seen of nofo- i dont think he would be suited to this tbh. he's not that quick

Nofo isn't quick, true, but he is a very powerful runner who will be hard to tackle and make solid meters early in the count, I guess similarly to Sironen. Sue is pretty quick, in the NYC finals series last year he was making big meters and some huge line breaks with his speed and hard running in the final against Canberra. He might be suited to 9's too.

not sure how this will be structured, I'd imagine only using mostly the young guys though….....although the cash incentive may make it worthwhile using anyone who *could* do well.

Just on the nines, is there any chance the Warriors don't win this thing? Johnson will be completely in his element, and blokes like Hurrell and Vatuvei will be get one on one with defenders all day, and run over the top of them. It seems the nines is custom made for them.
