No bench

No bench, no forward pack and now all the jokers on here excited on KPP to be our saviour.
Maybe we should recruit some more bottom 4 team forwards then we will really be a force to be reckoned with !!!
KPP just another nufty to the pack.
I am not expecting him to be our saviour, just to stiffen up our right edge defensively for 80 minutes each week. Anything that he brings attack wise is a bonus , as is Sione moving back to the middle rotation.

What's the best approach to the bench in 2026?
Pending any new recruits;

14. Latu Fainu
15. Mavrik Geyer
16. Fonua Pole
17. Sione Fainu

Or what ?

We need some big bastards.... Hunt needs to work on his fitness, he can't be looking like he is about to have a cardiac arrest after 5 minutes and 2 hitups, all we are asking for is 10 mins a half with high output.....

Do you or anyone else think that an older stronger Madden would be able to fill in at 9 as well as cover the halves in the 14?

Need to go the market

14. Latu Fainu
15. Sione Fainu
16. Davvy Moale
17. Ativalu Lisati

I’m not giving up on Pole as he is only 23, but he needs a big preseason
Definitely need to continue strengthening the roster.

Moale & Lisati are available.
Storm have no incoming signings, I'm sure they can & will lock up Lisati - we will see.

Richo on the "wait and see" train also.

Pole can play KOE until he realises what's required as a 1st grader.

At any other instance this should be the case, but realistically we have benches that have been carrying the likes of Charlie Murray and Sukkar. Until we get able (and I mean able...not even great) replacements, Pole has a lock on his spot. He has been very average the run home.

What's your thoughts on a bench we could name that can compete?

There aren’t always adequate solutions to problems …

I’m getting deck chairs on the Titanic vibes around Mavrik Geyer being the solution to anything if he is picked in the Top 17…. He could make an impact …but he certainly hasn’t done so previously so I think it’s more out of hope than any real expectation …and he will be 25 when he plays his first game at the Tigers … he has been around a while , so it’s unlikely he is in the verge of a leap…
