No changes 2013

What if we sign Kite for next year, that will make a change to the starting team & the bench, could be one or two unhappy players who miss out on a game. I also think we will sign another prop as well as Kite for next year.

There aren't many good props in NSW cup at the moment that aren't already locked up for moves next year that we could poach.

Jeremy Latimore, Shane Shackleton, James Gavet, Josh Starling are all capable of being bought I'd say, despite contracts.

I hope we re-sign Bell, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Matt get better offers from other Clubs… If Sheens signs Kite, I'd say either Bell or Moors will be cut as Fotuiaka will be on the bench next year.

I wont be surprised to see something like this:

1\. Moltzen [Tedesco will come into the squad mid-year]
2\. Tuqiri
3\. Ryan/Thompson
4\. Lawrence
5\. Koroibete
6\. Sironen
7\. Marshall
8\. Woods
9\. Farah
10\. Kite
11\. Anasta
12\. Blair
13\. Pettybourne

14\. Fulton
15\. Galloway
16\. BMM
17\. Fotuiaka [this bloke is the perfect Sheens specimen]

I think Anasta will be the perfect foil for Marshall tbh.

1\. Moltzen
2\. Koroibete
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Anasta
7\. Marshall
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Woods
11\. Fulton
12\. Blair
13\. Heighington

14\. Murdoch-Masila
15\. Fotuiaka
16\. Pettybourne
17\. Sironen

Is how I expect us to run out in round one.

Very close to that. Doesn't get me excited one bit

I like that bench, it has strength, size, speed and impact. I think that team looks reasonably well balanced (without Tuquiri). I could only fit Bell in instead of Rhino, but Rhino won't be dropped. So that must mean Bell is on the outer…

1\. Tedesco
2\. Koroibete
3\. Sironen
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan
6\. Marshall
7\. Anasta
8\. Galloway
9\. Farah
10\. Woods
11\. Bell
12\. BMM
13\. Fulton

14\. Fotuiaka
15\. Kite (if we can sign him) Moors
16\. Pettybourne
17\. Moltzen (for the last 5 minutes)

No room in team for Rhino, Ashyford and Blair.

I would like Marshall to return to five eight and let Braith play at 7.

How some of the teams still want Moltzen is astounding, and no room for Thompson we cannot go on with the same group of core players we will get the same rubbish next season.

Not that any want Moltzen there but as long as Sheens has breath Timmy the boy wonder will be taking up somebody's much more deserving spot .

And Anasta will unfortunately have a massive sook and demand - yes demand - (and sheens is weak so will listen) to play in the halves just like he does at the chooks.

It's gonna be another really mediocre year guys GET SET WHOOOHOOO!!!

He wont have to sook , Anasta will be 5/8 without a doubt , because we do not have the players to steer the ship under sheens coaching .
my four props would be
woods
galloway
pettybourne
blair .
we have plenty of backrowers to fill the void.
front rower let us down big time with our lack of depth.

Tuqiri ?? Tuqiri ?? Tuqiri ??

Surely you jest

You know he will re-sign him and cut Utai…

and where does Moltzen fit in if Teddy is right .lol
i fail to understand some of the decisions our club makes .

to bring the coach his pipe and slippers

I wouldn't say player development is too bad.

After all, we've all witnessed Marshall/Farah/Gibbs/Fulton/Heighington/Lui/Dwyer/BMM etc. rise in status coming through the system. If they didn't believe they could progress under the system I'd imagine they would've looked elsewhere, but their loyalty to WT cannot be questioned.

The problem, as some have encapsulated, is the persistence of picking players in wrong positions, picking 'experienced' has-beens over promising youth and the coach's lack of emphasis on discipline, which has continued to hinder us season after season after season….

Deadset, if Tuqiri is re-signed (even if it is just a year) that'll do me, I would have seen it all. Koroibete should move elsewhere for the betterment of his own career if this happens.

Koro will stay… If Lote is resigned you can say goodbye to Utai.

I think the other thing we have to be mindful of is that Lote played a bit part in Koro signing with us. Keeping him around will be good for his development.

I really hope that the Tigers can get Lote to fill a similar role as Skando in the 1st year of retirement. Get him as an ambassador - which he is brilliant at. If we need him half way through the year, sign him back up.

Our only signing this year needs to be another good prop. Pettybourne will be an astute signing, we just need 1 more and also to resign Bell.

Then we just need sheens to start picking players on form and in position!
