The Tigers will not win the next 2 games and if they did they will still be short! Raiders will beat NZ next week and put your house on the Bronc"s beating the Panthers so there you have it.Tim Sheens coaching this season has been totally inept words fail me as to this performance (more on that at seasons end next week).Had a chuckle last night in my inbox was Exciting news about the 2013 Packages …No 1/2 back/short on props / centers looking tied and not up to it/ Royce Simmons back and Tim Sheens head coach well that all rings of excitment being negative yep!!

If we win our next 2 we can't miss the top 8 as we will finish 2 points higher than Brisbane.

Thats all we talk about were gone u know we will beat roosters. And will send Gareth Ellis on a winning way in round 26 last home game for our team to.

If we can't beat the roosters we don't deserve to be in the finals. If we can't beat Melbourne then we won't be competitive in the finals. It's all or nothing now. I am confident the tigers can win both games and make a run. Think positive!

My Fear and Likely of some others is with Raiders winning, Will we lie down and just capitulate now.. Although IF Raiders had lost, We may have still not taken advantage… Who knows what team will turn Up, But we will know for sure if we have the heart and desire to want to be in the finals come 3:30, 4 pm tomorrow.

We lose and we are gone for 2012.. We win and even then we may need to win our last game.. IF we could win by 40 points tomorrow that would almost assure us a Top 8 spot ( providing we don't get thumped by the Storm). I Hope we can win tomorrow to at least allow it to be a meaningful game at Leichhardt the week after. Lets also realise, that Raiders and Broncos still have to win their final game also, so there could still be some twists and turns... All that matters is beating Roosters now to give us a chance.

Will the pressure of a must win bring out the best in Tigers tomorrow. ? Or would have it been better the Raiders lost meaning any win tomorrow would have just about guaranteed our finals spot.

If we get "thumped" by anybody then we should not be in the finals. Don't think we will get there anyway. "Stay positive" yeah right.

Team selections, stale coach, no halfback or fullback. Things will not change until these situations change. Starting with the coach.

Sheens has been good for the club, however, he has been here to long and he and the players seem stale. Change needed. If Humphreys cannot see this then he has to be changed as well.

That's it. First things first. We need to win tomorrow. If we can't beat the roosters than it's really the story of our season. Underwhelming, underachieving, call it whatever you like, we've failed. And if so questions need to be asked of the players and the coach. A part of me is wishing this season was already over. It's just been a massive let down. I didn't buy into the pre season favorites tag but i did expect us to sit steady around a top 4 spot.

If it were possible for us to get in losing a game or relying on other teams, then we don't deserve to play finals. We either finish strong or dice.

I have said before maybe finishing 9th maybe better for the club in the long run. The board may finally act and do something about the coach who once again has failed to deliver

Nothing will happen mate, Sheens has already rolled out the excuses over the past few weeks and the media have lapped them up, business as usual.

Your first few sentences are spot on, Forty20\. However, there's no point us thinking positively - we can think as positively as we like, but it won't make a scrap of difference. It's the team that has to be positive, but I have a feeling that the bitter disappointment of 'so close, yet so far' last week will take its toll this week.

The past 2 years have been different. By this stage of the season we were on a roll, playing well and already firmly entrenched in the top 4\. This year, however, reminds me very much of 2009 - struggling to scrape into the 8, hoping for other teams to lose and now this week playing an out of form team, who we should beat, but rarely do. Hate to be negative, but things just don't feel right this year and haven't from the season kick off, tbh.

I would love for us to be in the finals for sure, but a finals series without us involved would probably be better for my heart at this stage :stuck_out_tongue:

Penrith aren't looking to bad anymore (won last week and are comfortable against the Titans), Brisbane have dropped 6 in a row. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Broncos go down next week, in which case a win tomorrow would see us into the finals. That said, I wouldn't be completely stunned if we somehow knock the Storm off as well, they not only have a dreadful record at Leichhardt, but their record against us in NSW is pretty poor.

I think we've got it covered. This team really performs well when it's all on the line. We haven't capitulated badly in a big game in a long time. We sometimes get beat but we always perform well and other teams have to be A+ to match it with us in those games. The Roosters are NOT A+ and once they see that we're actually there tomorrow and ready to rip in hard, they will fold like a guy with deuce seven.

Also I think we have the Storm covered.

Interestingly the Dogs have really gone out of their way to make life hard for us. Losing last night has actually given Melbourne something to play for next week lol.

I would prefer to not make the semis. Then to be happy we make the semis only to lose in the first round. While there is still a very slim chance of getting in. After today it proves there is little chance of making it past the first round.

Please don't refresh this, my last comment was embarrassingly naive.

LOL don't worry, Mac, you were just trying to give us all something to be positive about and we appreciate it. Pity the team didn't take some of your positive attitude and enthusiasm with them into the game today :frowning:

Same goes for me Mac. I have just recovered from the shell shock. I really thought the tigers would aim up today. I eat my words and previous post.
