No Tedessco in the Baby blues...seems strange

There seems to be no logical reason for his omission.

What did he do? All he did was pick players that have already played for NSW at age 16 or 18\. …. there is your squad.

Obviously he has no idea. Tedesco is still only 19, has made his 1st grade debut and is in the NRL top 25 squad...that really shows he has something special.

How many of the others selected are in the top 25 and made their debut ?

You could be right Happy...he might be a Queenslander.

He's played half a game of football in the last 12 months - apart from this forum just about nobody else even knows who he is.

**Your man Moltzen definitely knows who he is**.

What a stupid thing to say - typical dribble.
I support the Tigers - that means I support all the guys in the team and want what's best for the team's success.
I will be just as happy for Tedesco to come back and live up to his potential as the next supporter.
Excuse me if ,unlike some on here, I don't go out of my way to bag players for the fun of it.

He is a NSWmen I was just stirring the pot

As Ink said just because he wasn't named is no reason for pandemonium

The people in the know , know who he is Don't worry

Yes they do. He is a player who has played about 6 games in the NYC and 20 minutes in first grade in two years. Great credentials to be picked for anything.

When this bloke comes back he had better be a Reg Gasnier and Slater rolled into one. He will have to be to live up to the hype that has gone on this forum.

That would be your expectation col. People here are excited and say he could be anything, but nobody is reserving him a spot in the Immortals, so take it easy.

And will you be prepared to eat your big plate of humble pie if he is Col ??

Why were so many clubs chasing Tedesco if he wasn't the real deal ??

Tedessco is an awesome prosepect, im a huge fan, have been since the first time i saw him play.
That said Lachlan COote was probably even more dominant at underage level and has yet to dominate at NRL level, Im always happy to define players as future NRL players, and have done so many times, but the next level, is a big call, but certainly not beyond Tedessco.

Col, if you look through the emerging blues, there is a heap of players that are yet to play even NYC in the squad. Tedessco is miles more qualified than the bulk of the Squad.

Reading the above post, Tedessco was overlooked for NSW 18 in a close call for the doggies bloke who started 2011 in NYC, maybe that is why he was overlooked.

How come you never defend Blair so passionately? if you only defend Moltzen cos of the criticism he cops as you say then you would also defend Blair as he cops just as much. Thats where your argument has a gaping hole

Thats not bad stats for 6 games in NYC, does that include his 4 tries in his second game as starting fullback?

he got promoted to top 25 NRL squad and was starting fullback in NRL after only 13 games in NYC , must go alright then

He might be dynamite when he returns. I hope so. However, a lot of people on this forum have said that the reason for Moltzen's bad form was the injury he suffered some time ago. I just hope that Tedesco does not suffer the same mental problems in regard to his injury.

Yes, lets hope so Col….time will tell.

This baby blues camp in on at the same time as the NYC rookie camp..lol...good work NSW....good to see nothing has changed....Go QLD

You think Tedescos getting pressure heaped on him?
The two Balmain halves will have it in tonnes weighing on their shoulders the way some are going

Regardless of how good we think he is, playing 20mins of round 1 and returning from a season ending injury, I don't see why people are so surprised he's not named…..

I'm surprised because there is about a dozen blokes in the squad with no NYC experience at all, so playing 30 minutes of NRL is heaps.
Luke Brooks was selected and he has barely played any SG Ball!

there is loads of injured players in the squad.

it is a very surprising exclusion considering who is in the 50 man squad

Good point Goose!
Maybe it's a lack of game time or maybe they have already ear marked him and decided to select junior, juniors for the development pathway?
Don't know….. Selections can be so baffling sometimes! Lol
