Noddy

If he had to use the " Penrith are disrespecting us line " to get the team motivated .Wow not sure what that says about the team or coach but I certainly wouldn't go on TV and admit I used that line

Noddy is a good bloke.

He's out of his depth here though.

I truly believe he'd make a perfect local league coach ala Andrew Bobcat Ryan.

He may go out with a winless record.

Credit where its due though.
@batboy told us so.

I haven't heard the presser, just looked at the headline but that's a very strange statement to make especially after losing.

Noddy has been smashed with a reality check. When he talked about having "fun" when coaching this squad - in what ever context that referred to - I suspected that if he had any desire for winning that the fun aspect of the job would wear off quickly. Losing is not fun no matter the circumstances, and especially in professional sport.

It’s Z grade level coaching. it’s like when you read posts saying players should pin up articles that have us tipped for the spoon. Players don‘t care about things like that. They aren’t emotional.

Yep. The whole part about having to sell a story each week to motivate the boys.
We’ve gone from Madge’s Kitchen Nightmares to Noddy’s Dream Escapes.
F Me can’t the players just get themselves up for the game.
In all seriousness if they can’t. Then they shouldn’t be footballers let alone 1st graders.
We want a team full of players that just want to play football first and foremost.
Says a lot about the current state of the club.

Players should start a penalty jar, like club cricket.

$200 per missed tackle
$100 per ineffective tackle
$250 per penalty
$500 per sin bin

They'll either lift their game, or they'll have one hell of a time in Bali in September.

That could get dangerous.
We’ll have players competing for the worst performance to enjoy the best holiday.

It's no emotion only towards the team itself. In the majority of cases they don't care if they win or lose. They will still be paid the same amount win or lose. So this same majority of players asks themselves as to why should they bust their guts to win?

Fair play the comments about Penrith disrespecting us. That said now is not the time where this stand in coach should start flexing to the media.

Head down, appear grateful for the opportunity and try to come across as you are doing the club a favour.

Has there ever been a bigger example of a guy killing his coaching career before it’s even begun? Has done himself no favours over the last 6 weeks
He's done it to himself keeping Brooks in the side and promoting him back to halfback despite the rest of the world knowing that Brooks can't play 7 at park footy level
