I don't disagree but in the absence of signing JAC, Mbye is probably our best option.

He was really good there in 2018 and played injured throughout 2019, I think he deserves a chance in the role the club bought him to play.

JAC is an outstanding winger....fullback is an entirely different game...I wouldnt pay him fullback money until he is proven in that position ..fullstop..

I think it is yet to be seen JAC has the skill set for fullback. I would give him a shot during pre season, but I don't think he will make it.

Noffa looked hobbled last week so probably best not to judge him. I do think though that if he had the attributes to be a fullback, the coaches would have seen it by now.
Both he and JAC have been in first grade a while and have had numerous fullbacks picked ahead of them.

Fullback is the hardest position on the field. Non stop running, talking, setting the defensive line. And that is without the ball.

Mbye will be fullback, he just needs to work on catching the high ball. He is quicker than Douhi, better positioning defensively and better ball player on the sweep move.

How about his form under the high ball. Might even be worse than Mbye.

I still say that other than catching bombs, Mbye looks our best fullback since Teddy. Surely he can practice this constantly for the next 5 months?

His got a good pass on him but most likely will too slow
