Nofo back

i'M NOT TOO WORRIED. HE WAS WAY OFF THE PACE LAST WEEK. He needs a few games in reserves to get match fitness up. Shame Gamble cant play fullback….

Don't know whether he was off the pace…..But those Black boots don't do him anyfavours tbh. Might take him half the season to settle in.

Obviously now we have to start looking at the Concord training surface , look at the amount of knee , hamstring and calf injuries we have had this off season alone

This is a real valid point you bring up happy.

Didn't Reynolds do his hammy at ANZ on the captains run?

Yes

That's bad lick for Tui and us.
Don't be surprised if Thompson is fullback in defence and Kev in attack.

It’ll be Thompson at fullback.
I wouldn’t give Kevdog too much to think about with this week, just keep him focused on one position.
Hope Gamble jaggs a bench spot.

He was off the pace.
Was outrun by Fergo and brooks had to run him down while they both cruised past Tui.
Keep in mind that 78th minute goal.
Speed is not everything, winning is.
While a little of the pace he still is one of our danger men.

Well the other option is too concerning to even bring up

Ronny Palmer 😱pen_mouth:

This has always been how it works with a Cleary coached squad - he buys lots of depth for a reason - so he can train them hard real hard and if you loose someone with injury thats ok because the backup is just as good and fit.

He did it at the Warriors and Penrith so id expect it here too

I can’t see Thompson letting go of the fullback spot. He will shine this week against the best in the comp.

The money clubs have a special soft buffalo while at Concord we have Kikuyu and weeds, defiantly the reason for all the injuries .

Hope Nofoaluma bags a treble and smashes Addo-Carr into next Wednesday…

Nofo will be seeing a lot of the Foxes TAIL .

They have matched up a few times can't say I remember that happening to often ..have seen Nofoaluma score twice through Addo at Leichhardt tho..

I hope Nofo proves me wrong and he has a blinder
But if we leak points That's the side that concerns me the most
Addo-carr verses Nofo in a foot race
Actually anyone against Addo-carr
If he gets through he is gone
Nofo needs to tackle better then he ever has or it's shut the gate
In a positive note I am quietly confident our forwards will hold their own
I'll say it again that I would like to see Gamble get a start
The storm wouldn't know to much about him and I think he has plenty of ability
I like the way he takes the line on and he seems to have a great kicking game
Anyway really looking forward to a good competitive game from the boys
Do us proud

Good opportunity to see Thompson at fullback. Its like a free super coach trade.

Bad for Tui good for the team to see how this works. Tui can come back and take Kevs spot and all will look well.

Don't let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory.

What conspiracy theory :crazy

My initial comment has been hacked , I mentioned that the EPL side I follow switched training grounds as they found that the surface on their original ground was causing many hamstring and calf injuries

Didn't take Nofoaluma long to fight his way back into the side

Hoping that Nofoaluma punches a few holes in the Storm defence and helps us to points decision tomorrow

He didn't fight his way back in to the side. Tui is injured, forcing a reconfiguration and leaving a hole to fill. But that said, I hope he plays well.

Thompson demonstrated that it is possible to defend well on the right wing. Nofoaluma before anything else has to demonstrate the standard of defence which Thompson provided.
