Nofoaluma

did you see Hurrell suck all the defenders in with that tried ole step. Nofoaluma should have done his homework. Nofoaluma was the first sucked in - the rest like 10 pins came down. The giant has awoken - ohh Hurrell!! We serve you almighty master!!!! Take us to the top 4 master
My question is - if Nofoaluma is afforded these miscalculated occurrences in defence - Why is Koribete not?
Why is Koribete not in first grade. Did he lose that electryfying step - does he not accerelerate at 1-100klms per hr per square inch anymore??
Hmmm he must be injured.
Sorry guys, ignore this post.

He's not injured and your :crazy

Not sure why Nofo is being questioned. To me he is a great player. I like Koro as well and I can't wait to see him in first grade.

Seriously? Nofo knows the game. His errors are few and he hasn't dropped many.

Koro is still learning the game and was being exposed more then once a game.

Nofoaluma isn't the first, wasn't the only and will be one in a long, long, long list of players to be beaten one on one by Konrad Hurrell.

Koroibete gets beaten by basic sweep plays more often than not.

In saying that I actually think Koroibete would have stopped that try from being scored, his retreat defense and ability to stay alive after being beaten is one of his strengths and he would have got back there a lot quicker than Farah and not been under as much pressure.

I think we should be persevering with Koroibete right now instead of Lulia. Nofoaluma is a good centre and it's surprising he's yet to get a crack there in the NRL. You saw how easily he scored playing off the wing against Souths. He'd get a boatload of opportunities to run at holes and would score a lot of tries like Lawrence used to and most of the tries Nofoaluma scores by beating his man on the outside Koroibete would, plus Koroibete is a more effective support player than Nofoaluma. I just think having both of them on the field would be better than one and Lulia.

I reckon nofo is playing injured. His been a bit quite and seems to lost pace for his standards. Would not be surprised to hear his nursing a niggling injury hence why they haven't moved him out of position.

Doesn't look too bad to me unless it's happened recently. He looked pretty fast when he nearly ran down Albert Kelly in the Titans match.

Never really seen Nofoaluma in the open field at full fitness though. I remember he made a few line breaks last year but he was definitely slowed by injury. He was injured on debut iirc. I reckon when he gets a chance he'll surprise a few people just how fast he is. His combination of upper body strength, speed and positional awareness makes him a very solid outside back.

this would make perfect sense! was wondering why nofo wasnt at fb last week considering he displaced teddy from fullback in the u18 aussie schoolboys!

He's always been slow.

But he has acceleration, strength, agility and the smarts to more than make up for it. I can really see him at centre in the future. How old is he? 20? He's a long way to go and what's better a lot of improvement still.

He reminds me a bit of Lyon and hodges tbh. He has that awkwardness like aysh and hodges have

I've never seen Nofoaluma at centre but if he can play there I would put him there. I think Koro adds a lot to the side. It gives us Tedesco, Simona, Nofoaluma & Koro who can all create something out of nothing.

Actually Koro is explosive raw talent, he just needs game time, with that he would be a nrl star.
