Please,sledging has been part of the game since day dot,we were all taught to be respectful within the boundaries,eg, if a player dropped balls because he didn't have control we would say stuff like he has "" hands like bricks' go back to reggies and learn how to handle passes,get the basics right your being paid enough to know how to pass etc etc..when you start calling people derogatory names because you can,it appears your upbringing leaves a lot to be desired..

I was at Newcastle game back in the day just after Joey got busted with drugs, And his own fans had banners with a macca's cup on it saying "he loves his coke and ice", HIs own fans.
Its football….....weve already lost too many traditional aspects of the game to over sensitive members of our sporting community.

I have read the some of the sledging made by West Indian cricket supporters , they got it .

In my opinion that"s exactly what it was….....A good old fashioned sledge.
Imagine what they would have been yelling out to Raudonikis when he left the field.
Its only because we have a young man with a twitter account that were even talking about this.

I can remember a particular trip on a train in 2004 full of Broncos supporters back to Ipswich (the game we had a try disallowed to Pattycakes that cost us top 8)

This particular drunken clown kept singing in front of his very young kids "Tigers take it up the clacker " do da do da

Anyway wasn't in the best mood cause we lost , and he kept making eye contact with me when he sang it

Anyway about 3/4 of trip , I have enough , get up with my Mrs ,Dad and Step Mum trying to stop me getting up and said "watch this I'm cool"

He saw me get up , went pale , started cowering behind his daughter

Got to about 3 metres away and told him "its clowns like you why people are leaving Ipswich in droves "

Went back to my seat to standing applause from about 30 Broncos supporters

If you say the right thing and say it without venom and a glint in your eye

Same as the Carl Webb situation many years ago , you can get your point across without being a tosser and swearing your head off

Saying something along the lines to Nofoaluma " Don't worry Nofoa , its not your fault ….................. it's those bloody idiots selectors that keep picking you every week's fault " gets the point across far better and everyone gets a laugh out of it

But I’m not too worried about one of our players being sledged.
I’ve sat on The Hill at liechardt and heard some of the best heckles ever, Nof just has to learn that’s the nature of the beast.
