Nostalgia

But growing up JT for me , and many others, this was cheese, remember we had very unsophisticated palates way back when !
Now I wouldn’t eat it if I got it free. I’m quite taken with the value and variety at Aldi. It’s not top drawer but you can always seem to find something tasty , imo.( maybe I’m still not sophisticated ).

I understand what you are saying but i was raised from an early age in a cheese loving family,my mother bought this once to try it and all 5 of us including my mother hated it.I did try it once again many years later but it was still as bad as i remembered it.My favourite cheeses are Brie Camembert Cheddar and Stilton which may also help explain why i am a diabetic.Aldi does have a decent range of cheese but i do miss the speciality cheese shops which used to be more common
The yanks can keep it and eat it with their terrible budweiser beer

The old Kraft cheddar was great to slice up and put on a bit of toast and grilling though.
