The late great Maurie Fields ....
Gives me vertigo every time ….. but I love it !
But growing up JT for me , and many others, this was cheese, remember we had very unsophisticated palates way back when !
Now I wouldn’t eat it if I got it free. I’m quite taken with the value and variety at Aldi. It’s not top drawer but you can always seem to find something tasty , imo.( maybe I’m still not sophisticated ).
The old Kraft cheddar was great to slice up and put on a bit of toast and grilling though.I understand what you are saying but i was raised from an early age in a cheese loving family,my mother bought this once to try it and all 5 of us including my mother hated it.I did try it once again many years later but it was still as bad as i remembered it.My favourite cheeses are Brie Camembert Cheddar and Stilton which may also help explain why i am a diabetic.Aldi does have a decent range of cheese but i do miss the speciality cheese shops which used to be more common
The yanks can keep it and eat it with their terrible budweiser beer
Spam was a necessity
