The Harold Holt mystery ??

57 years ago today, the most important man in Australia vanished without a trace whilst swimming in the ocean at Cheviot Beach, Portsea in Victoria. He was declared dead two days later. No body has ever been found.

They never did find the Chinese submarine that he swam out so he could defect with all ASIO's top secrets either.I know it is hard to believe but that was a theory that some in the right wing of politics actually believed at the time because he wasn't as gung ho about the Vietnam war as some wanted
