Kamahl is the stage name of Kandiah Kamalesvaran, perhaps best known for "The Elephant Song", and his repertoire of popular music.

I worked for an agency that handled all the creative, bookings, and commercial rights for Ken West and the Big Day Out. I was fortunate to meet Kamahl, and having him play on the Lilypad stage in 2013 was amazing. He’s such an intelligent and engaging man.

Champion @innsaneink, it's thought the horse Red Rum was named by his breeder, Martyn McEnery, who took the last three letters of his dam's (mother's) name, Mared, and his sire's (father's) name, Quorum, respectively.

By combining these letters, McEnery formed the name "Red Rum".
(The name also coincidentally happens to be "murder" spelled backwards)

lol ,i sat on Kamals knee at a new fancy mega shopping center in the burbs back in 72/3 thursday night in pyjamas ,smokers jacket ,forget what the ladies call it shopping when it was hip for a thursday night ,no shop open after 12 01 pm form Sat on the weekend ,bank card /first of dodgy credit came out,People young and old stood in the window of a jewelery shop with a new now get on or lend and ripped off , bank card tripe
