Nostalgia

After 25 years, Bardot are officially reuniting.
The iconic early 2000s pop group will take the stage again at the Mighty Hoopla festival at Bondi, with Belinda Chapple, Sally Polihronas, Katie Underwood and Tiffani Wood confirmed to perform. It will mark the first time the group has performed together since their split in 2002.

One familiar face will be missing, with Sophie Monk not taking part in the reunion. While fans were quick to notice her absence, the announcement has still sparked huge nostalgia for anyone who grew up watching Popstars and following Bardot’s chart domination in the early 2000s.

Formed in 2000, Bardot became an instant pop phenomenon, scoring multiple Top 20 hits including Poison, These Days and I Should’ve Never Let You Go, along with two albums in just a few short years.

The proverbial, ‘wall of horses’ fight out the finish of the 1976 George Adams Handicap (now Champions Mile) at Flemington.

Maybe Mahal, with Pat Trotter in the saddle has loomed-up on the outside to hit the front in the closing stages of the race.
