It was 40 years ago this week-end that Cracker Night on the Queen's Birthday weekend was officially banned, which was really a good thing. Animals were scared, some to death, letter boxes were blown up, and fires started.
We did have a lot of fun, though.

BIRTHDAY GONG Michelle Phillips is 82 today - and she's the last surviving member of The Mammas and the Pappas.
