It was 40 years ago this week-end that Cracker Night on the Queen's Birthday weekend was officially banned, which was really a good thing. Animals were scared, some to death, letter boxes were blown up, and fires started.
We did have a lot of fun, though.

Australian cricketing twins Steve Waugh (left) and Mark Waugh (right).
Steve and Mark Waugh were the first twin brothers to play in a Test match together, debuting as a pair in 1991.
They played in 108 Test matches together for Australia, contributing significantly to a successful era for the team in the 1990s.
Steve Waugh captained Australia and was known for his grit and leadership, while Mark Waugh was renowned for his elegant batting style and elite fielding.
The twins were born on June 2, 1965.
