Sid Barnes and Don Bradman resume their 2nd wicket partnership of 225 after lunch on the second day, H Leverson-Gower's XI v Australians, September 9th 1948.
It was Bradman's last first-class match in England and he bowed out with 153 in 190 minutes including two sixes.
Back in the day, I had been on the turps and was no good to drive. I didn't have enough for a cab, so I ordered a Dominoes Pizza home delivery over the phone. So when the pizza was ready I fronted the driver and explained my sitch and he took me home along with the pizza. 🤪🍻🤣🍕🍕🍕
