Yeah…we won. But should have put 50 on the Panthers. Too many mistakes and rushed options in attack. To be real contenders we need to take control of games like that and run it through them in the second half. Did Benji go missing a bit? :wtf
And how important is Chris Lawrence???????

Better to do these sort of things now than in a months time.

Need to get it sorted though. We looked really good in the first 20, need to maintain it for the full 80.

After the supreme efforts of the past 2 weeks I thought we might be a tad flat tonight.

We went for the jugular far too early and the lack of respect we showed them allowed the scores to get quite close but at the end of the day we were never in trouble and still scored 32 points so I am happy.

The Storm were down 18-0 to parra and had to fly back to win and everyone talked about how awsome the comeback was.. if that was us the media and we would have bashed out team about the performance.

I liked the way our first 15 went. Utai had a shocker, but I hope it's a 1 off. More to the point I was worried we would not come out firing after some big games. Nothing to worry about I don't think.

We've had 2 massive games so we were bound to have a let down. The fact we won while not playing well is a major bonus. We'll be better next week.

You can't play at 100% every week or you'll burn out before the finals, weve beat Manly and Saints in successive weeks and just beat Penrith by 14 without Lote and Lawrence.. Some people just have unreal expectations thinking a team can play the perfect game every week..

It was a good win, nothing more. I'll take it, come finals time, a scrappy ugly win and a beautiful 50 point win both mean the exact same thing.

2 competition points and helped for and against .If we could of controlled the ball better I reckon we put 50 on them quite easily

x2

I think its a pretty decent over-reaction for people to be saying that they need to play better then they played tonight if they want to challange for the premiership, after beating two of the competition heavyweights back to back.

It shouldn't be much of a surprize that they were a little flat, given the last 2 weeks.Would have been dissapointing had they lost but they won so theres no issue.Different to the last time they played Penrith when they were disgracful. This time they just had to do what they had to do to win

so,Marshall had a quiet 1,whats the big deal? he's just come off 4 consecutive MOM performances for crying out loud.Surely its not too much too expect he's gonna have a quiet game eventually

Just that Panthers were there for the smashing, but yeah a fair point, can't do that every week, especially coming off the wins we've just had.

My greatest concern is going into Semis without any football against match hardened or semis bound teams We could go into Semis underdone and overconfident if we blow the next three teams out of the water I guess the good thing with the Cronualla game is we will get a tough forwards battle

i thought we went alright but we would have scored a few more tries if we were at full strength. we were getting into postion and setting up tries but one of our finishers (utai) wasnt good enough to finish off some opportunities. thats 2 games in a row utai has been disappointing. also, beau ryan gifted panthers a try. moltzen actually went well at fullback. ellis is in top form!

This was always a danger game after the last 2 blockbusters ( and lets not forget the Roosters game where some "experts" labelled it the best performance by the Roosters all year)The team has had some tough games, the intensity wasn't there for 80 mins, but they got the 2 points, in what if we are honest is the type of game this team would have lost in past years. Pray for no injuries over the final weeks and we will be ready to shake this competition to it's core.

You must be joking….we have beaten 3 of the top 5 teams including the premiers in the last 5 weeks and your complaining ? LOL as someone else said benj has had 3 - 4 MOM performances ina row.....give the bloke a break

A win is a win, but probably not the performance Sheens would have been looking for. NB if we win every game between now and the finals we will arrive at the finals having won seven on the trot with no real test for the last four weeks. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
