With the injuries mounting ..with elite players seem to be running the club and the coach unable to make the hard decisions to keep the egos intact I think a scrap in around 8th could be the best outcome at this stage but another non showing in the final series looks to be more on the cards ..there is some real issues at concord IMO.

Lightweights.

Came within 6 points of beating first place.

See you both in September when we make the semis.

Have u all forgotten last year when we lost 5 in a row n even after that we were only just beating low ranked teams by 2 and 4 points.this season isn't over yet by a long shot and what makes it so frustrating for us fans is we know what there capable off, they weren't to bad today n I think when we get that left hand attack back we gunna b a lot better.

I'm not giving up yet, the best is still to come! Starting next week at Leichhardt with Ellis and Lote back!!

Today was a big step in the right direction …injuries , yes are killing off our serious chances , but as long as the team puts in , like today , I won't give up hope just yet as well ...it's a long enough off season , adding another 4 months by giving up On this year with 13 more games left before the finals , just doesn't make any sense

we have won 4 and lost 5\. hardly the end of the season yet. remember the guy who broke his membership in half last year after we lost to souths at scg and then we went on to make it to week 3 of the finals. we'll get players back from injury and will improve

Too early to say not this year. We have had a shocking run of injuries and turned in some very ordinary performances yet we are still 8th with a positive for and against. The season is not yet half way over and we have some great players returning over the next few weeks and a lot of talented young blokes who now have plenty of first grade experiences. Lets get behind the team instead of writing them off.

Last week the online bookies were paying $2.90 on Tigers missing the 8, so obviously they still think we have a chance. It's not as though the teams below us are looking great guns. If we have something like a fit team at the end of the season, we'll give it a fair shake.

I don't understand the defeatism on here. I started supporting the Magpies in the mid 80s. In my life, I never saw my team win a semi before 2005, but I never threw tantrums or bagged my team's players like some of the team-hating nongs on this forum.

God I would hate to go to war with a lot of you pussies, Ready to run home to mummy when times get a bit tuff, Ever heard of till the death? Or the eye of the tiger, No didn;t think so, You call yourselves tigers supporters, I CALL YOU PATHETIC !

The boys cold pull off an 2005, yet I dont think the guys have the grit to win.

I am expecting some serious improvement on the signs we did see in todays game.
