Not up to it

We purchase Reserve Graders and expect them to be world beaters. We release players who weren't regulars in our top 13,but thrive in much better sides.
Austin- Canberra
Addo-Carr- Storm
Naiqama and Chee Kam, I will never doubt their commitment, but they are the worst centre pairing in the NRL. They don't appear likely to ever make a line break or threaten to score.
Joel Edwards offers zero in go forward and not much else
Our recruitment has solely been of other Clubs second tier roster. We have not won a game in any grade FOR 3 WEEKS. Our depth is non-existent.
Seriously, the rot needs to stop. Appoint an experienced Coach for 3 years minimum and tell him to clean out the deadwood or this cycle will never end.

It was clear at the start of the year.

We had too many reserve graders in our STARTING 17 - let alone our top 25.

We have the worst back row, centres and bench in the whole comp.

Our wingers are average, halves are averages and prop rotation is ok but wont scare anyone.

The hooker is about the only guy to surprise me this year.

In defence, positionally, Nofoaluma kills my life, but his hit-ups when were rucking it out of our end are phenomenal.

Our roster is not that bad Woods, Teddy, Sue, ET, Nofa, Aloai, Grant, Ava, MCK, Suli, Moses, Lawrence are first graders. Issue is that's 12 out of 17 and with injuries it could be lesss. We need better players and more of then but have ourselves to blame. Paying 1m to Souths and Manlyfor Farah and Siro. We need two new centres and a new edge backrower plus prop. I think Sue, MCK and Lawrence are bench players not starters.

Lawrence is not a first grader any more for me sorry. He is a battler.

MCK does his best but would struggle to make the centres in any other team.

Suli is rookie, and not a winger.

Grant, Aolia and Ava are part of a beaten pack most weeks.

im not saying they are terrible - but they are not good, consistent first graders.

3 long range tries from dummy half. Rapana , Blaire and ado car it's pretty clear the forwards are the issue. Poor marker, second row and wood always not too far flat footed in all these tries. Commentators blamed sue for the two day was sitting flat footed having a breather cost two tries. Undone all good work . We need second rowers and props , centres and we would be OK.

I thought Sue took some really strong hit ups today. I just think he is being asked to play too many minutes due to a real lack of another impact forward on the bench.

We were a stronger team with Simona and Nofo in the centres, Chee kam and Naiqama struggle defensively… Aside from that our bench has no impact. She is going to be a long year...

Chee Kam would be fine in a decent NRL side, Grant is past it though and Kev just doesn't cut it. If Aloiai could develop a right-arm carry he'd be an absolute weapon and Ava is easily a first grader. Sue needs to go to the bench at best, he tries hard and has the odd good carry but just no motor. It's a philosophical change needed more than anything though, we keep picking small, undersized backrowers in the 11 & 12 and carry two (or a hooker) on the bench. I thought Lawrence was one of our best today but him being in the 17 should make Lovett and Edwards immediately redundant.

I'd like to see Idris for Naiqama, and the pack like this:
8\. Woods
9\. Liddle
10\. Ava
11\. Aloiai
12\. Lawrence
13\. ET
14\. McIlwrick
15\. Sue
16\. Felise
17\. Tatola/Paseka when fit

McIlwrick to play the middle 40, or if Idris is struggling then ET to centre and McIlwrick to lock. Sue to spell Aloiai, and one of Ava or Woods to be on the field at all times. Ava looked better in longer stints under Potter and we need more minutes from Woods, one goes off after 10 and comes on for the other at 25/30, then go from there. The 17 is there for whoever is willing to run hard and straight, or whoever has Sam Tagataese's number.

Mostly I think it's the bench that kills us, all momentum is lost after the first 30.

Mind you, in that first 30, we haven't scored enough damn points, so the attack is off too. Not sure what's happened to Moses, thought he'd kicked on after the back end of last year and Brooks has shown very little improvement, if any.

Its not just the last game. Sue has been doing this for a long time. He has got to get it out of his game.

2018 was supposed to be the year we would give the comp a good shake.

Now it will be yet another start to a rebuilding phase.

If half of our entire roster (top 25 and reserve grade) is not shown the door then don't expect much more than what is served up now.

Putting new coaches in to try and improve our wretched cattle is just a complete waste of time.

Of course JAC goes alright in the Storm side, they are the Storm. Blake Austin and JAC would not make the Tigers a better side.

It all starts from the engine room, we need better impact forwards who can play more minutes and at least one half who can steer the side around and develop the attack plan.
